“Stopped by on a whim and ended up buying a bike for my daughter and myself. The guy who helped me, unfortunately, I did not get his name was so kind and patient. I even returned and donated two of my child’s old bikes. I highly recommend visiting and donating.”

“Adopted Akela (formally Kesha) a few weeks back and we are loving getting to know each other! Everyday Akela’s personality comes out a little bit more and he ended up being quite a goofy dog. Akela loves meeting friends on our walks or lounging around all afternoon. He is the perfect little addition into my life style. The AWLA helped recommend our new vet and even covered the initial exam fee. We look forward to supporting them in the future!”

“Temple of Praise is the best Church I've attended Bishop Staples is a great Bishop I understand the word when he preaches. Never attended a Church where the Bishop or Pastor spoke about their trials and tribulations of what they have been through and were brought of so I think you Bishop for sharing your story because no one is perfect and that even includes our Bishop’s or our Pastor’s. You just never know what someone has been through so treat everyone with Respect and look out for our Children.”

“The presence of the Lord is in GMSAM. The church is led by a God-ordained and highly anointed Pastor who leads his flock by the unadulterated word of the living God. GMSAM is a true end-time ministry that cares about the souls of all who enter their doors, while ministering through evangelism to communities who have yet to come in.”

“We took a Spanish 2 class to visit the MCI and had the best time! Our guide gave us a step by step tour of the historical building and added plenty of age-appropriate trivia and information. The murals are incredible and the art exhibit upstairs was just amazing. My students loved the greenhouse room and music room the most.”

“Wow, let’s talk about how this cc blows away all suburban ccs. Geez where do we start. So the first thing you see is an amazing rope walk playground. Go inside and there’s a VA Cooperative Extension office to the right where there’s a seed bank library ie free seeds for all and other gardening info. Art line the hallways. Big cultural impressive art that looks created from class participants. Saw this really clever Chihuly esque art project with earth focus theme … it was very deceptive! Keep walking and there’s a lending library (limited hours) and out door garden nooks with herbs found in Ricola. Wow.”

“I was invited to attend an opening in the building's art gallery. The interior of the building is a work of art in itself!Masculine feeling and great angles and interior/exterior vistas everywhere! (Many of the windows from the interior are angled because of the round or curved walls.) Outside, windows look like a regular office building. The fortunate employees who work in this building: common spaces, meeting rooms, the auditorium, work spaces and the bathrooms are very 2019 - design-wise, light-wise and electronic-wise. Heard, but did not see the roof deck - apparently to die for - you can see the roof deck trees from the street.Uncertain younger staff appreciates all the amenities. I think they take for granted. This office building is probably in the 97 percentile when it comes to great buildings to work in.”

“Touching memorial dedicated to those who have been disabled through service to their country. The site contains plenty of seating, a water reflecting pool, statements regarding wounded soldiers from eminent leaders throughout history, and a series of glass panels containing stories and information about disabled heroes. Nice place to sit and relax and contemplate the cost of liberty.”

“This building is the home of the esteemed National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine. Members are advisors to government and top scientists in their disciplines. The building is not a public museum. It sits across from the Mall and south of the Department of State. Not really a tourist spot, although there is a wonderful statue of Albert Einstein out front yhat offers a photo opportunity for visitors.”

“This place really is quite nice during the off-season summer months. Today I counted a total of six students sitting down and either working or studying. That is a far cry from just a few months, when it was literally impossible to find a place to sit. Even though the official graduation starts tomorrow, I think that perhaps most of the students have already left. I like to come here on occasion to study and work, and the WIFI and nice tables make it conducive to do just that! I know that they have limited hours during the summer months, but I am still looking forward to being very productive here. I'm also glad that they have finally turned down the volume on the televisions that are situated in various spots, because not everyone comes to the center to just kick back and watch TV.”
