“This place is a hidden gem that is super popular with locals. I have passed it more times than I can count, even went in for cold drinks to carry me back home to Baltimore County a few times. I had no idea they served food or that it was absolutely amazing. I got to try their food for the first time last year and was impressed. My brother scheduled his outdoor wedding to take place at a nearby venue that doesn't serve food. I wanted to provide picnic style food to match the "boho" vibe of the occasion. Etchison Country Store came through! I ordered 100 pieces of fried chicken, a gallon of potato salad and a gallon of macaroni salad. The food was ready on time, the chicken was hot, the salads were high quality and fresh. Everything was outstanding! The guests raved about the food as they gobbled it up. :-) Chip, the owner is wonderful. Great communication and customer service. I wouldn't hesitate to order from Etchison Country Store again in the future. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Thanks again, Chip!”

The team members were so kind (I unfortunately did not get their names), & gave my puppy his first sheetz cup which him and I were equally excited about. It made both of our nights. “I really like this gas station/truck stop. Has free truck parking, about 15-20 spots. The food was made fresh 24 hours, which surprised me. Most trucks stop they stop making food around 9 pm. The food is very good and affordable. I am definitely saving this place as one of my favorites. Also very clean rest rooms.”

“Delicious and affordable chicken slider, iced coffee and sandwiches. A large selection and friendly service! Can’t comment on the gas but the food is great! Although - one comment is the chicken sandwiches. The $5.60 spicy chicken sandwich was smaller than the $3 chicken tender sliders. I think the chicken fillet seemed like a totally different product which I would not recommend. But the chicken slider or chicken tender sandwiches are ideal!”

“It may seem silly to review a Sheetz but after today I thought it was time. I’ve frequented this Sheetz for a few years now and have always had good experiences. But today I saw a familiar face behind the counter. A gentleman by the name of Tim, prepared and handed me my food. Now I don’t know Tim personally but years ago I used to frequent a Taco Bell on 40 when I was working late nights. Tim was working there at the time and was always friendly and gave me exceptional customer service. I never did a customer service survey up until that point but it was wel deserved. So it was a very pleasant surprise to see him working at another establishment I frequent so many years later. Sheetz is very lucky to have him apart of their team.”

“Go there just for chicken and have a couple comments on that. 5/6 times it's great but that last time it's dried out. If they are not busy it sits too long - they should toss it after a while. And hard to tell from just looking. I usually find out on the way home while I'm stealing a bite and then don't feel like going back and doing what / waiting for a new batch? A refund from the receipt that I threw in the trash on my way out the door?Also why in the heck after spending $20 on chicken do they charge you .79 for a tiny tub of sauce? Who else charges for condiments?”

“We are big fans of Sheetz in general, but the 23 Thomas Johnson Drive in Frederick has exceptional staff, always friendly and helpful. We’ve been in this store dozens of time and always leave with a smile. Great selection of healthier snack foods and meals, and also gluten free options often not found in other gas station stores. We only wish we could find Sheetz in more states because when we travel, we’re usually disappointed with the gas stations we find.”

It's clean and employees here are actually polite and speak English well (most other 7-11s I've been to have either rude employees or people that are both rude and barely speak English so it was always a hassle trying to purchase a Powerball ticket from them).This 7-11 even has a lottery machine so you can easily and quickly purchase the Powerball.”
