“On one of my many trips home I decided to take a different approach to get there. When I do this, I somehow always end up stumbling upon nice little pockets of businesses along the way. That's what happened this time around. If it wasn't for taking an alternative route, I probably wouldn't have even known this location existed. When I reach Frederick I know I'm anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour away. Which is usually about when I need to stretch the legs and get myself to a restroom. Thankfully the familiar red awning showed ahead of me and I knew I would be able to make a quick stop here. Pulled in, found a spot to park, and headed inside. Used the facilities, decently clean, and then browsed the store. I ended up getting my sweet tea and a pack of smokes before returning outside. To me, this location feels tucked away and mostly serves those in the community more so than the travelers on the highway. Which isn't a bad thing.”

“I really like this gas station/truck stop. Has free truck parking, about 15-20 spots. The food was made fresh 24 hours, which surprised me. Most trucks stop they stop making food around 9 pm. The food is very good and affordable. I am definitely saving this place as one of my favorites. Also very clean rest rooms.”

“I grew up with Wawa, so I am very excited to have one close by again after years without it. I love the frozen/iced coffee options. I usually stop by in the mornings and there is plenty of parking, lots of gas pumps, and the wait usually isn't too long. The staff is friendly. The coffee makers are always so friendly and welcoming when they make my coffee and when I asked if meatless breakfast items could be made special (the pre-made items all contain meat), they assured me that all I had to do was ask. I prefer this location to the other nearby locations because the layout of the store is easier to navigate and not feel crowded.”

“They make fresh eggs for breakfast. 5 stars for that alone. They have a full size griddle, not just a bunch of microwaves like the vast majority of places in Maryland. The fresh baked croissants are delicious too. They also have beer and wine. This place always looks clean, especially the food prep area. Employees are all friendly. The bathrooms sometimes don’t get cleaned regularly though. Not awful, but sometimes it looks like it’s been a few days since someone cleaned the toilet bowl. That should be done every shift. Sometimes it looks very clean. Just not consistent. Very well run business besides that. Good job!”
“Love this place it's a quick place to get gas it's also a quick place to get your cigarettes some groceries they sell soda ice cream chips and beer The only thing they don't sell the cigars they also have a little printing thing in the back or you can have anything printed on a shirt printing on a drop ceiling tile they print on anything for that matter so I would highly recommend this place to anybody that needs gas or need some groceries Yes their prices may be a little high but they're not bad at all The staff are so great here Love this place”

“It may seem silly to review a Sheetz but after today I thought it was time. I’ve frequented this Sheetz for a few years now and have always had good experiences. But today I saw a familiar face behind the counter. A gentleman by the name of Tim, prepared and handed me my food. Now I don’t know Tim personally but years ago I used to frequent a Taco Bell on 40 when I was working late nights. Tim was working there at the time and was always friendly and gave me exceptional customer service. I never did a customer service survey up until that point but it was wel deserved. So it was a very pleasant surprise to see him working at another establishment I frequent so many years later. Sheetz is very lucky to have him apart of their team.”
“We are big fans of Sheetz in general, but the 23 Thomas Johnson Drive in Frederick has exceptional staff, always friendly and helpful. We’ve been in this store dozens of time and always leave with a smile. Great selection of healthier snack foods and meals, and also gluten free options often not found in other gas station stores. “Go there just for chicken and have a couple comments on that. 5/6 times it's great but that last time it's dried out. If they are not busy it sits too long - they should toss it after a while. And hard to tell from just looking. I usually find out on the way home while I'm stealing a bite and then don't feel like going back and doing what / waiting for a new batch? A refund from the receipt that I threw in the trash on my way out the door?Also why in the heck after spending $20 on chicken do they charge you .79 for a tiny tub of sauce? Who else charges for condiments?”

“A wonderful place I use to get beer late at night. No I'm not an alcoholic, but my week tends to end very early on Friday mornings. So as long as I'm there before 2am I'll get myself a 6 pack of Flying Dog. To celebrate the end of the work week. Folk here are friendly, though they are often doing anything and everything they can to stop themselves falling asleep. Apart from that they stock the best beer in the area. (Flying Dog) they have a great selection of snacks to go with. Sometimes better than Giant down the road. Win win!”

“Stopped by to get gas and pick up a few snacks.The pump area is well lit, and the pumps are easy to use. The area is relatively clean. If you desire, you can even get a car wash.When inside to grab a couple of snacks. Bathroom is clean, and this store is well lit. Even late on a Sunday, the coffee area was well stocked.Lots of automation is used in the store. From self, ordering kiosks, to self check out, automation is available to move you along quickly.Also, there is signage everywhere. From the parking spaces to indoors. Easily to find whatever you need and what deals they are offering.Overall, not a bad experience”
