The mail goes quickly to the regional distribution center, so is where it needs to be quickly.They don't have passport services at this location.There is a small but thorough supply wall in case you need some postal supplies.”

“I went on a Wednesday around noon. I had zero wait. One patron had just left, and one came in after me. There is just one cashier. I only needed to mail a small package and I had no idea what first class postage would cost. The counter person was personable and asked perfunctory questions. I was in and out. Maybe because of COVID and a pending snowstorm, people had other places to be. I like the old brick building. There is ample ( more than necessary) unlike the new Silver Spring post office near me, which has no parking lot.”

Had my hands full with a stroller and the large package. When the young lady behind the counter realized my mistake, she followed me back out to my car and took the correct parcel for me. “I just had a great experience! I dropped off my package and got a receipt without a hitch! This made me feel a lot better after a terrible experience at USPS on Buchanan street.Not only was I satisfied with my experience, but I saw about 10 other people in the same situation, and every single one of them seemed like they were having a great time. The staff interacted with each customer with a big smile, and the line was moving at a good pace. It was 15 minutes past closing time, so they might be in a bad mood, but all the staff members were really nice and helpful.I will definitely make this location my new go-to!”

“While I very much like the USPS employee that is typically at the window. She's extremely friendly and helpful. I have a major complaint with the fact that regardless of which Saturday I go, the door is never unlocked despite both the door and website displaying these supposed PO Box Access hours of 10AM - 2PM. I arrived at 1155 this morning and the same foolishness. Its extremely frustrating and it's professonial. Do beeter USPS!”

If you're going into a post office you know you're going to get long lines and bored civil servants just trying to fill out their 20 years to get their pension. So the post office is pretty much a post office. The one star was taken off for the weird parking.”

“I always forget that this Post Office exists. Maybe because it is back in the cut off of Watkins Park Drive and can't really be seen from the main road. As far as I know it is full service and it is never crowded. I had to go in during this girl Rona and it was virtually empty, which was completely different from others that I passed that many folks waiting in lines outside. Of course masks were required and 6ft lines were but in place in addition to limit on who is allowed in the lobby. I have always been pleased with the staff in this location. I will continue to return of course when remember!”
