“I just had a great experience! I dropped off my package and got a receipt without a hitch! This made me feel a lot better after a terrible experience at USPS on Buchanan street.Not only was I satisfied with my experience, but I saw about 10 other people in the same situation, and every single one of them seemed like they were having a great time. The staff interacted with each customer with a big smile, and the line was moving at a good pace. It was 15 minutes past closing time, so they might be in a bad mood, but all the staff members were really nice and helpful.I will definitely make this location my new go-to!”
“This little post office has been here since I was in college. If you want to avoid a line, don't come during the "lunch rush." The place isn't glamorous but the staffers are nice and your letters will get mailed. There is free parking on the street and nearby lots.”
“I am not a fan of the DC post office (which isn't this location). Our mail carriers don't pay attention to detail & we can't get anyone 100 % dedicated to providing excellent service regularly. Repetitive tasks probably get boring, but that is how I get mail not meant for me and how my mail gets mis-delivered. When my mother's day card wasn't picked up by my mail carrier after two days (since I was trying to avoid visiting a post office), I had to make sure my card was sent. This post office is along an errand route so it works for me. It looked like the staff was practicing safe distancing inside. I was able to use their mailbox outside and not interact with anyone. There is a convenient parking lot behind the post office. I love little post offices like this. Langly Park, MD has one as well.”
“This location is not too far from my hairstylist so on a few occasions I’ve stopped here to purchase some money orders and the staff is always super helpful and patient. Yesterday one of my debit cards was completely canceled due to fraud, which I did not learn until I attempted to buy a money order here and the associate who helped me was so patient and gave me a few ideas of how to resolve the issue before I realized it was a bank issue. I just really appreciated her positive attitude and help during a frustrating experience.”
“I don't think anyone ever wants to visit the USPS. However if you need stamps and are driving buy stop and get them here. Fact you never know what you're going to get in the USPS, service is often robotic but decent enough that you won't complain. Here it's more of the same but the people are nice and provide good service. It's a post office. Not much more to say about that.”
