“Whitesells is the only pharmacy I've ever worked with and so far and things are pretty good what you want when you're to get it I won't send any pictures even if I could I would first want to get their permission to send anything I'm assuming it would be all right but I would want to make sure it would be alright with them.”

“I recently had a complicated prescription situation where my anticonvulsant medication has to be the name brand, because of break through seizures with generic. Unfortunately, I am temporarily unemployed, so my coverage doesn’t cover what it did on my corporate medical plan. The medication is several thousand dollars/month. I worked closely with Kathy (Sp.) and her team at the pharmacy and they went over and above to work with my insurance company to try and lower the cost. A solution was finally uncovered. I would STRONGLY encourage anyone who is looking for a pharmacy to use this one. You won’t be disappointed.”

“Masters Speciality Pharmacy so far is wonderful. Although I've only been a patient for bout 3 months they r great. I decided to get All my medications put in PILL PACKS. Masters was the only place I could find to do it. Now all my medications come broken down into 3 pill packs I open 1 for morning n 2 for the evening n I no longer have to deal with all those pill bottles n getting confused bout my medications n the ease of just opening a peel off sticker swallow my medication with some water I done. No hassle. No bottles. So easy. I wish they'd have thought of this sooner! Thank u Masters! Oh it free too no charge for them to do it!”

“Beautiful location. The store is very neat, clean and organized. The employees were very friendly and had excellent customer service. The bagels from the deli are amazing as well as the donuts. The angel food cake definitely should not have been put out because they fell while being baked.”

“If you've seen my latest check-ins and reviews, you know two things:1. I'm visiting Frederick, Maryland (where I lived from 1993-1998).2. I've been in the gym every day this month (October), sans Sundays.That being said......Weis was always my pit stop on the way to work for one thing: DONUUUUUUUUUTS!!!!I really don't have much to say about the store as a grocery store because it's pretty much what you would expect.But those DONUUUUUUUUTS!!! Lord save me...These are the best donuts I've ever had at a grocery store.Which is why I brought up Point #2. It's the last place I should be if I'm trying to lose weight. Hey, don't judge me. Mind your own bathroom scale.The assortment is great and they are ridiculously flavorful. Soft. Flaky. Huge.I could eat them all day! Which is why I'm going to be in that gym every day in November.Go to Weis, preferrably in the morning.Why?DONUUUUUUUUTS!!Enough said, I have another one to eat...”

“Giving this a 5 star review for two reasons. First, the attendants here are always friendly and able to help if you're having trouble with you pump. Second, you can now use the Sam's club app to pay for gas. No longer need to always have your membership card with you. To pay in the app you click more, then select Fuel. This will allow you to scan the QR code on the gas pump and pay with whatever card is linked to your Sam's Club app. If you don't want to pay with the card on file you can of course opt out and scan a different credit card at the pump.If you're like me and hate carrying around tons of different credit and membership cards, try the app, it makes fueling up at the club way easier!”

“I like this store and its employees. Have shopped this store since it was built. Sometimes the store does not have an item, but that happens everywhere. Must be mindful to check expiration dates. Have found items on shelves and in refrigerated cases that were beyond expiration.Starting 1/1/24 Frederick City government has banned the use of plastic bags, so, you can either bring your own or purchase paper bags for 10 cents each which we planned to do. This ordinance passed in the spring of 2023 for a 2024 start date.Today (1/2/24) we shopped for our weekly groceries and when we got to the register the cashier asked if we brought bags from home. We did not. She informed us the store had no paper bags. We had to buy cloth bags at $1.00 each. If we had a few items we would have carried them out but we had a cart full.I certainly hope that by next week this store has an abundance of paper bags. I don’t want to be forced to go outside of the city limits to shop.This new ordinance was well advertised. What happened?”

“Yesterday was just one of those days where if it could go wrong it did go wrong. I tried to get a prescription filled at CVS on Ballenger. They didn’t have the medication I needed it didn’t offer me much help. The only CVS that had the medication was in Boyd’s Maryland. They told me to just call a bunch of pharmacies to see if they had it. I called Costco they didn’t have it. I called Walgreens on Crestwood they told me they had it. I had it sent to them and when I got there I was behind one car. At that time it was 1:30 pm. They got this cars prescription I pull up and no one answers. I waited and then saw that they go on break at 1:30-2:00pm. At this point I was frustrated I wish they would have atleast just said we are going on break we will be back at 2. I go home because I have my newborn with me. I get a text message from Walgreens saying my prescription is delayed because they don’t have the medication…. The medication that I specifically called about and they said they had! Finally I remember seeing people in this group talk so highly about Urbana Pharmacy. I decided to give them a call. They had the medication and told me they would get it ready as soon as they could. Around 5:30 it was available and I wanted to pick it up but wasn’t sure if I would make it in time before they closed. They told me they would stay open until I got there as the medication is important to start. Thankfully I got there 10 minutes before they closed. They were so kind. They let me vent about my bad day and really took care of me. They made me feel like I was a regular even though it was the first time I been there. Other customers were so kind and we were all just chatting it up together. The environment was just so calming and nice.I HIGHLY suggest using Urbana Pharmacy! Moving forward I plan to use Urbana Pharmacy for my entire family. No more big chains for us!”

“I like shopping here. Good stuff, great produce, and a nice clean store.Con? The self-check out scanned items table is very small. Either limit the self-check out to 5 items or let me put scanned items in my basket.”

“This review is more about a person than the store. A BIG shoutout to Ronnicia. She brought out my curbside pick up and when I questioned the quality of the bagged salad she happily asked if I would like her to exchange it. I know she had to go to the back of the store to retrieve a new bag ( which looked totally fresh) and I asked for her name because she went above and beyond in my opinion and did it all with a beautiful smile. Thanks Ronnicia I appreciate you!”

Although I’m sure they are often overwhelmed with work to be done they are always able to provide a personal touch to each visit or phone call. “I've been shopping here since birth and I have some great memories of going here with my friends and family. The selection of items is incredible for a smaller grocery store and always fresh. The staff at the pharmacy, deli, and fish counter are also very friendly and helpful. The checkout experience post-covid though is a genuine hindrance. I honestly do not know how many customers want to check out and bag an entire load of groceries, especially in a store that serves a community of busy families with young children or elderly adults living alone. I think its great that weis is still hiring local teenagers to work around the store, but now they just stand next to the 15 or so self-checkout machines and fix them when necessary. Weis's new hours are also less convenient, I remember when it was open 24 hours. I definitely will keep shopping here but the changes made over the past 4 years do not serve its loyal shoppers”

“I've used many pharmacy's before. It's common sense that pharmacy's are busy, most times understaffed and over worked. Yes, there have been lines at times when I pick my medicine up and sometimes no line, it's a pharmacy so I know to expect one or the other. I've never waited too terribly long and the staff is always friendly and on point. Seems like the other complaints on here are from people expecting no line and immediate service, good luck trying to find that with a pharmacy! Costco pharmacy is the best I've experienced hands down.”

I was shocked when I found one in Bedford, PA, but for one to be here, it threw me.This Giant Eagle is part of a larger plaza, I guess you can say that it is the anchor as it is by far the biggest retailer in the plaza. Parking is ample and can make for a quick entry/exit.Inside it is well organized and everything appeared to be stocked. I didn't look around too much as my mind was on gift cards only. I went straight to that area and started to browse.I have to say, they had a fine selection of gift cards and made choosing one a bit hard. I circled the display a few times before honing in on one section and then stayed there for a few good minutes having an inner debate on which gift card would be most appropriate.Once the selection was made I headed for the registers. Made sure to scan my rewards card and was out the door.”

“Been using since they opened in '94. For a neighborhood store, they have a decent deli and seafood departments. Vegetables are decent. Seen better prices and bakery goods at Food Lion, down the street. Overall, if you want to locate higher-end products, go for it. Hope you Have a Healthy New Year!!”

“I’m being nice ,but it’s taken me since 6:00 this morning to check out. Because of this I can’t pick up my order until tomorrow. I’m not sure what’s going on but something’s messed up. It shouldn’t take 3&1/2 hours to check out. First I was on the app ,then to the web site , & finally went to Facebook & picked a tire sale. Finally got through. Shouldn’t be so hard & long. I know I’m ranting,but because of personal reasons I have trouble getting to the store, this has been a godsend to me. Everyone is so sweet ,but the app is ticking me off. Thank you”

“Rules are rules. They're put in place to help things flow more evenly and go quicker and more efficiently. My issue is that if you check out the entire area and make sure that you are NOT going to hold anybody up or impede guest traffic then I think that having 16 items in a 12 item self check out lane is ok. If you have 20+ items and are holding people up and are very slow at what you are doing then ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GET IN THE EXSPRESS LANE. ITS CALKED EXSPRESS FOR A REASON. i was literally in and out of the EXSPRESS check out lane in less than 4min. As I was about to pay a female employee showed me that I had 16 items in a 12 item lane. I get it. She is just doing her job. My issue is that I wasn't impeding traffic IN ANY WAY AT ALL. so next time you do you wanna tell somebody the rules say it to somebody who is actually screwing up the situation. I will return because I love giant eagle.”
