Managed to find a lovely sweater that caught my eye, along with a pair of earrings that added a touch of sparkle. Cherise, the delightful attendant, went above and beyond to assist us. She even stepped out from behind the register to help me find the perfect boots to try on. The whole experience was well worth battling the traffic to reach the store! Absolutely worth it, yeah!”
“I am from out of town and visited ZAAF Collection on a wimb, yesterday with my family members. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed! The selection of the unique styles of purses and the quality of the handcrafted workmanship of the bags are superb! “I came here a few months ago and still remember my experience. I came a couple days before I had a career fair and got to the store 30 minutes before closing. Even though the store was getting ready to close for the night I was with a very nice employee who smiled and asked if there any help that I needed.
I explained that I’m not smart clothes shopping and was looking for some business casual shoes to complete my look for the career fair. I’m very happy and satisfied with help I I received from her. Not once did I feel rushed and the input I received from her felt genuine like she was actually trying to help me create a good look and not just trying to sell me random stuff.
Such a good experience that checking out I asked to speak to the manager just for a minute to tell her how happy I am with my experience and that was a truly five star interaction and that this girl should be up for employee of the month”

“I had such a good experience at this Madewell this afternoon! Last weekend I had an unfortunate encounter at Georgetown Madewell, where the sales rep kept insisting I should buy jeans that just didn’t fit me. I ended up having to order online in a size up. I decided to come to 14th street instead of Georgetown to return the I’ll-fitting jeans. Despite having a complicated return request, the team on 14th street were super kind and patient. Just a really lovely staff! I look forward to shopping here again!”

I now go there more frequently to see what new things they have.Previous review: I'm so glad to hear others say they've had great customer service b/c it's been hit or miss with me. Sometimes i'll get a very nice sales woman and other times, like today, my daughter and i walked in, looked around the jewelry by the front register and left 5 mins later and not one person acknowledged us. We've also gone bought something there and literally, nothing was said to us. Not hello/can i help you/thank you for shopping with us. As i said, there have been times when they've been friendly but it's kind of odd that it's not consistent.”

“A few years ago, I purchased a beautiful mink double breasted coat. It has been a treasured item in my closet to be wore on those cold windy and wet winter days. I wore it once on a very rainy day in Alexandria Virginia and was I surprised the coat was the perfect choice for that particular occasion. It was pouring rain, a bit slushy and damp. When I returned home, my beautiful mink was soaked... I shook it out , put it on the back of a chair and hoped it would be in better shape once dried!!! It was perfect, luscious and shiny and ready to be wore in the worse of winter weather. I highly recommend Gartenhaus for all you fur needs. They also tailored the coat to my request and I absolutely love it!”
