“Two nights ago (on the eve of Thanksgiving), after bank closing hours, I made a $1,000.00 cash deposit (consisting of 6 one hundred dollar bills, and the remainder being twenty dollar bills) into a separate Aneca Federal Credit Union branch’s ATM in Bossier City. The ATM counted $900.00, but it returned a single $100 bill, due to that $100 being slightly creased. I fixed the crease in the $100 bill, and fed it back into the ATM. The ATM then seemed to freeze up, and a “please take your cash” message displayed on the screen. This worried me, because for at least 2 minutes straight, that message was displayed on the screen, but the ATM never returned any of the deposit back to me. Then, I received the “please take your debit card” message, which I did. The ATM then provided me with a receipt, which read “This ATM is experiencing technical problems and is unable to return one or more deposit items. We apologize for the inconvenience”. Well, then I got REALLY worried, because it did not display anything about the amount of money that I had just attempted to deposit. Since it was after hours and there was no phone number located anywhere on the ATM to contact someone regarding this issue, I called the phone number located on the back of my debit card. Upon making contact with an Aneca representative at an international call center, I was advised that I would have to contact my local bank during normal operating hours. Although I was irritated by this, I realized that there was nothing further that I could do at that moment. However, I did send an email to Aneca right then and there, explaining my problem. The bank was closed the next day for Thanksgiving, so I had to wait until this morning (Black Friday) to go to the bank so that I could address this issue. Just as I was preparing to leave my residence to head to that particular bank branch, I received a phone call from Brittany, who is the branch manager for the Aneca Federal Credit Union at the Airline Drive location in Bossier City. I explained that this incident took place at a separate Aneca branch location, and she still took it upon herself to ensure that my problem would eventually be resolved. Later this afternoon, I received a phone call from an associate (I failed to get her name) of the Aneca FCU branch where the incident took place, and much to my relief, I was advised that they were able to retrieve my deposit, and that it was then placed into my checking account. About an hour later, Brittany called me to ensure that I was aware that the issue had been resolved. The reason for this long review is because I want to highly commend Brittany for going what I felt was above and beyond her duties to ensure that I, an Aneca Federal Credit Union customer, was well taken care of, even though this incident didn’t even occur at her particular branch. I feel that had this exact incident taken place at any other bank in today’s times, I likely would have been told to contact that bank myself instead the associate going out of their way to ensure that I was taken care of. Aneca Federal Credit Union has secured a lifelong customer with me after this incident, due to their extreme professionalism, as well as their apologetic and steadfast response to resolve the issue at hand in a VERY timely manner. Job well done, Brittany!”

“Zack is the man to see! He helped my fiancé and I refinance our auto loan, and also opening an new account. He went over and beyond and is the reason we chose to go with Aneca Credit Union. We look forward to working with him again and I would suggest you ask for him when going here!”
