“I'm a regular at this spot being that I work right down the road, but I love there food. The burgers and fries are always made fresh when u order an so are the chicken tenders which are one of my favorites on the menu. They have a very large menu with all kinds of good options like poboys, fried chicken, biscuits and several different sides. The chicken is always amazing especially when it's fresh. The guy cooking is always friendly and fast with the service and always clean. Plus it's a one stop shop, you can get pretty much anything you from this store. And they also do breakfast! I would definitely refer this place for a quick hot and fresh lunch!”

“Anyone who lives in this part of the parish knows about this hidden gem. The Blue Store opened up down the street in the old Dominoes location just to get some of their business. But seriously, spicy fried chicken and western style fries any time of the friggin day or night. The chicken is actually pretty damn good. I believe Seth Rogen said one of his favorites of New Orleans was Brother's chicken. No joke. I live within spitting distance of this place and come here often not just to gas up but to get a 3 piece chicken tender with fries for ~$6 or a 3 piece mix with fries for about the same price. If you go in here almost any time of day or night, there's a small line. On Sundays after church let's out you'll see people walking out of there with 25 piece boxes. And it's non-stop. They also have kabob's, meat pies and other good stuff. If they're out of something, they'll make it up fresh for you. Plus it's a fully stocked mini-mart and liquor store. You can get your fill on junk food, beer, liquor, smokes and everything bad for you all in one small place. The family that owns this place is from El Salvador so they stock a lot of chips and snacks from their native country. I buy all of it as I love to try new things. They have a cooler with Mexican cokes right next to the case of Mad Dog 2020's. They have soda for 99 cents any size, icee's, and a walk in cooler for beer. Not being from here, a colleague explained to me that the local gas station almost everywhere in Louisiana always has good food. It's a place where people would go to congregate and get the local gossip and news, before the internet and even mobile phones, it makes sense. Even after the advent of modern conveniences of you reading this review on your phone in the car, going to a gas station to get food is what we do here. Other places may be not so, but here, some of the best food are in the least likely of places like a gas station, read some of my other reviews of other gas stations of similar faire. So if you're in the area and you want some good fried chicken and you can't get into the tiny parking lot at Blue Store, and you're tried of Popeye's, or it's late at night and you don't want to go to Louies or Waffle House, you've just gotten out of the bar and you've got the munchies come here, you won't be let down.”

“There are 2+ things you might find Winbourne Grocery interesting besides alcohol and tobacco :). The place is clean and spacious. And they do take bill payments such as electricity, water, cable, phone, credit card, Santander Consumer, and insurance. They also sell money order and serve fried chicken, boundin links, egg rolls, hot dogs, and meat pies. The only one star less is that they don't give free stuffs :) nor let you use the private restroom :).”

“Every Super Walmart is basically the same except the customer service. The people employed here are helpful and nice. I always have fun conversation with them when checking out and management is good at keeping up with stock and line waiting to check out. The customer service center at the front of the store is also very helpful. I dreaded having to return anything from the eye rolls and rudeness I received from the Seigen Lane location but not here. The deli and meat areas have good people too where as at other locations I felt like I was ruining their day for a half pound of sliced honey ham. Please keep up the good work!”

“Love Walgreens - convenience at its finest. Okay, things cost a bit more here, but you very well know that it's a convenience charge, right? Oftentimes, there are no lines, the store is not overly big that it will take you long to find your stuff. I don't mind paying a tiny bit more to be able to shop without a crowd and get out of there within a decent amount of time. They always seem to have whatever basic needs on-hand and easy to find. The store is well organized and customer service is impeccable. I wish I could say this for some other stores in the area. If you look hard enough, you'll find some unique items here and you can even encounter some good deals. This specific store is located on Perkins & Siegen (across the street from Calandro's). I only buy milk and eggs from here, if I am completely desperate. Will I be back? Probably. I either hit up a CVS or a Walgreens several times a year. Yes, I always look for the deals.”

“I stopped in to open a bank account. At first they had to make sure they was enough time because they close at 5:00, but they saw that they had time they were extremely pleasant and helpful to work with. They explained all my options for business accounts and before I know it I was out there did with a shiny new checking account.”
