“Stopped by here on our family trip. Staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. Wide variety of products in the store and very well kept. Tidy gas stations/stores are hard to come by and this store is a clear exception. We will definitely be stopping by on future trips. Thank you to the owners for the pleasant experience!”

“Best whole chicken wings that are fried in Baton Rouge. Better seasoned than Blue’s . I have to come here every time I’m in town! They are always fried fresh!”

“Staff are stern, but only when it's necessary. The first time I visited the establishment, I instantly fell in love with the place. The prices are fair. Their fried chicken is better than chain store restaurants, cheaper too.”

“I find the owner and his son to be very polite, helpful and very respectful, willing to go above and beyond to help their customers. I have been shopping there since 1988 and I can remember when the owners changed hands, the customer services has been great, my wife and I enjoy shopping there. Mr. Eddie”

“Chicken is always hot and delicious. The only two down falls is that their schedule has not been consistent lately. Sometimes open and other times closed a lot for some odd reason. Staff could be friendlier but over solid food.”

“Like any and all Exxon, this is the spot to gas up, grab some grub, and keep it moving. Gas is high, but that ok. And check out Lucky Morning Donuts. They sound good.”

“After hearing good things about the food at Akasha Market, we stopped in to get fried seafood platters for three. All I can say is, Yummy. The seafood is fresh, perfectly seasoned, lightly battered, and fried golden. The fries that come with it are some of the best in town. I want to try one of their hamburgers next.Highly recommend!!”

“I choose to go here over ANY store. I’ve been going here for YEARS! When they know you by name and know your respect, you get respect back. And I know, NO MATTER what, they’ll always have my back.Don’t sleep on Jubilee. They know me by “Shay” and at least ONE person knows what I’m getting every single day and I stop here EVERY SINGLE DAY after work. My go-to spot! PERIOD!”

“On the surface, Save More looks like most convenience stores. Once inside, you can see they are much more. They are actually a small supermarket offering everything from fresh veggies to cell phones and gas. They offer a butcher-shop meat market with package deals and very reasonable prices. But the hot-food section is what really sets them apart. You may wait a few minutes for one of their sandwiches or hot meals but it is worth the wait. The hamburger/fries/drink for $4.00 is a real tasty meal and very satisfying (they cut and grind the meat from their own meat market!). It is one of the few handmade burgers in the city found anywhere but at a pricy sit-down restaurant. The po'boys are the best-kept secret in Baton Rouge. They offer them hot and cold and of every variety. The oyster po'boy is simply the best and for a long sandwich at under $10.00 it is a meal for two people. The State Legislature has been known to send a runner to buy sandwiches for everyone when they are in session. When you go there, mind your manners and be polite. They are nice people and a family-owned business. Everyone goes there so you never know who you might meet.”

“Usually open when you need it to be. I'd say turn the tunes down just a hair so you can interact with the person working the register. They need to bring back the boudin dog that's topped with pulled pork”

“Due to handicaps, I don't cook much anymore so started going to David's Tiger Express for lunch at least once a week. The food is always fresh, lots of choices along with lunch menu every day. The staff is so helpful sometimes bringing my order to the car for me on those days when not feeling 100%.They are very professional and an awesome crew. Please give them a try, I think you'll be delighted to do business with such a caring business in our community.”

“Maybe the best dirty fried chicken in town and the lady that runs the joint is super sweet. Idk where else I can get a 3 piece chicken a frozen cool aid and 1 Joe for five bucks.”

“The price was marked for every product, The price along with sales and state tax always added up to the correct amount. They made sure I had a receipt at the end of every purchase. They are wonderful people. Kind and helpful. Patient and not rude. I recommend this store to anyone and everyone. The store was clean and well stocked. What more can you ask for in a gas station/convention store. I think they are Angels ?.”

“Boudin is great, it's brought in fresh daily. Typically only lasts 1-2 hours before they're sold out. Good luck after 3 PM. Family owned, family operated. I will always support small businesses like these.”

“I went on 3/30/22. The business is on Hwy 61 which can be rather busy. Parking is minimal at best so be mindful. I got a Turkey wing and 4 potato logs. Food was tasty at a good price. It was rather busy, but they moved fast enough to say it was only two people working. They don’t give napkins or anything of the sort so don’t expect to be wowed by their service. So In short if you’re looking for good food (mainly fried), can maneuver through the small parking lot, and keep napkins on deck you’ll enjoy.”
