“Entering the room it's like your at home. Everything is neatly kept. The owner is on site anytime day or night. Never had any issues with the room nor other people staying. I've stays in the extended room twice and I'd do it again if needed. The owner is on call 24/7 and will address any problems or concerns promptly. I recommend the Windsor court hotel to everyone I know”

“Our room was so nice and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. The romance package was such a fun touch too! The staff was very helpful and friendly, and this hotel is very close to so many other fun things in Des Moines. I would definitely recommend it! The breakfast was DELICIOUS! We did not stop at the bar, but it looked really nice!Walkability: This hotel was very close to the skywalk, which is helpful for getting to so many different spots downtown and staying warm while you do it!Food & drinks: Breakfast was delicious and there was a great variety of food available!”

“Stayed on the way to and from our vacation. Staff were very friendly and room was well appointed. We love that it's a dog friendly hotel because we always travel with our dog, but the first night we stayed there, one of the guests next to us crated their dog for over 2 hours and it cried the entire time. It was both sad and infuriating. My husband called the front desk and Anthony was very prompt in contacting the customer. They returned from their dinner to let the dog out. This is just one of the possible issues you deal with when traveling with dogs, but the lodge handled it quickly and we were thankful.”

“Stayed in king suite.
Spacious, clean, and well-maintained.
Bathroom spacious, no tub. Shower spacious. The shelf for the soap is inconvenient as you have to reach through the shower stream.
Unsupervised children:
This time of year, there are groups of kids and families traveling for baseball and softball. Many of them (grade-school aged) saw the need to play in the parking lot in the driveway to the hotel, not an adult in sight, so beware as you traverse the parking lot. The property is attached to a huge parking lot to the north, so there's plenty of places to play there. Kids were running around in the halls as well, and I didn't know what they were doing in the rooms, but we heard some slamming noises and felt a few vibrations in our room. Thankfully, that quieted down after 10:45 or so.
Bed very comfortable. Sofa and chairs supportive.

Breakfast was hot and reasonably fresh.
Coffee was Keurig in the room and reconstituted in the lobby with real cream available. Green tea and Earl Grey are available for tea.
Eating area spacious bright and clean.
Nice patio area. Inspect the cushions before you sit as many appear to have food spots on them. The grounds are nicely maintained.
The property has sidewalks around it and sidewalks along the frontage road so a person can easily attain a 1-mile walk safely. A couple of restaurants are easily walkable nearby. The layout inside and out seems thoughtful
Convenient luggage carts.
Staff are friendly. I would stay here again.

“Not your typical Econo Lodge! The first thing I noticed was how immaculately clean everything is. The management and staff here genuinely care about their guests and go out of their way to ensure every guest has an excellent stay. To top that off, the beds are so comfortable. I didn't want to get up in the morning, but I'm glad I did because the breakfast was delicious. You have to try the biscuits and gravy! We love this place, and HIGHLY recommend anyone stop by and stay a night or two.Rooms: Very comfortable with plenty of room and a big closet with a safe and plenty of hangers. The bathroom was gorgeous.Safety: Located in a very safe area next to a couple of other hotels and a small lake with a fountain and walking trail.Noteworthy details: There is a 24-hour Casey's next door, which was super convenient!”

“Grate place to stay if in town. Staff is very friendly and helpful.In a great location to get to anything you want to do.The only things I think need work are smart tvs in the rooms, and the hot tub needs to have some work done on it.”

“I wouldn’t say it’s the best. The rooms are really nice apart from it having no soap anywhere and there being blood on our bedding. Also I don’t recommend the breakfast. It’s the most flavorless chewy food ever. I just sat there laughing with my husband because the whole experience felt like being at an unwanted family gathering. Very awkward very gross. Side note the juices all tasted like water, just wanted to enjoy my apple juice lol. One last thing… if you don’t mind hearing the employees talking on FaceTime everywhere and the stairways smelling like weed then you’ll love it here…Food & drinks: ?”

“Amenity-forward, dog friendly hotel conveniently located near the highway. Area seems to be newer buildings, and the hotel seems to be part of that trend. Staff was nice enough when I interacted with them, though seemed inconvenienced by me wanting a physical key in addition to the mobile. Lobby area is beautiful, big and bright, so good first impression walking in.The not made-to-order breakfast items and coffee were room temp if not cold. Kind of disappointing, since the cooked item wasn't something I wanted on this particular morning.The room was spacious and new feeling. Shower seems to have been an afterthought from such a nice room design. Hope it isn't windy when you're staying, because while it's nice to have an opening window they aren't sealed properly and you'll have a whistling noise all night. On a cold night and morning, this also made it colder than the heater could keep up with. I'm also not sure why, but there was a smell of cat pee randomly in the bathroom and by the bed I didn't use (thank goodness).I booked a king room and ended up in a double queen. Not too big of a deal since I'm driving from Texas to Chicago and just wanted a good sleep and to do my work before my final leg, but if I were staying more than a night I would have said something since I specifically chose that bigger bed via direct booking in my Bonvoy app. I probably would stay again if just passing through, but not an extended stay of any kind especially if windy.”

“This is a very nice Motel. The rooms are really really nice and clean and spacious. I really like the shuttle service to and from the Airport not really helped. It's worth your money I would definitely say here again. I got in really late last night like 3:00 in the morning and the guy was so nice to me and helpful. I had called and told them my flight was delayed and they said that was fine and they still had my room and that was really reassuring. Also they had a really nice breakfast it goes till 11:00 in the morning . The only other suggestion I have is the room was like super warm like very humid maybe turn on some air before somebody comes . Because it took a long time for it to cool down for me. you great stay.Rooms: The rooms were very big considering motels they stated in the past very spacious. It was very very clean which was very nice.”

“Stayed for a family wedding. Property was decent, could use some updates in the elevators as they are pretty bad with cracked tiles and filthy dirty. Staff did a great job with the reception and the room we stayed in was decent. A lil overpriced in my opinion but our overall experience was good.”

“Nice place. Clean. It does need some additional maintenance. Such as the bathtub faucet drips all of the time in my room, and there was no way to turn the heat on in the room. The thermostat set the minimum temp for the air-conditioned. It was in the 50s outside, and just as cold in the room - brrrr. Great staff and a convenient location.”

“-19 degrees, several feet of snow, 2am, no taxi/iber/lyft available, walked 20 minutes in life threatening conditions to get there. Girl at desk refused to rent a room to me because only 20.5 years old. “Need to be 21”. Thanks for zero empathy. Stay anywhere else. I had to.”

“We enjoyed our stay here. We got a poolside room and enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The rooms are really nice and they do not have carpet. The breakfast was not the best for one we had to pay for it and it was just mediocre. Having been to other hotels that have far better Continental breakfast. The rooms in bathrooms are exceptionally well and poolside rooms are way better. We stayed here on our trip and stopped in for the day at the living History farms nearby. We had originally picked a cheaper hotel only to get there and find that it was dirty nasty and smelly so we booked a room here. Having paid nearly double was well worth it for the poolside room. The other hotel was supposed to have a pool yet it was listed incorrectly.Rooms: Rooms and bathrooms are functionally well. We had a poolside room which included tile floors.Nearby activities: We stayed here so that we could attend the living history farms. The Continental breakfast the continental breakfastFood & drinks: The Continental breakfast cost money and was not the best. I have been at lower starred hotels that have far better Continental breakfast. This place didn't even have an automatic pancake machine.”

“Great location with walkability to restaurants and bars plus a nice trail around the river. Beautiful view from the room if you're on the East side. It's a bit dated but very clean. The front desk staff were nice.”

“I stayed here for 3 weeks. It is a very clean place. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is 1 employee that was exceptional on the evening shift. I just wish I remembered her name, but she was here almost everyday.Rooms: Clean.Food & drinks: Breakfast is served every morning. It is usually cheese omlets, sausage, biscuits with gravy, waffles you make, boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit and pasteries.Noteworthy details: It is just off the interstate, but quite. It is easy to find. It is beside an Outback that has good service and food.”

“We were very pleased with our recent stay here. The staff was extremely nice from the lobby to the brunch, everyone had a hospitality first mindset. It was rather pricey for the room, but it could have been a busier time in the area. Everything was very clean.One slight drawback, I didn't realize until after I booked that the cost of a pet was $40, which seems a bit high. I probably would have made a different choice had I known that.”

“This was a good little motel. Greeted with a friendly face at check in was most unexpected. There is road noise at the location, but the rooms are clean, nicely updated, and secure. We will most likely stay here again.”

“I am a Jewish American man who apon arrival at your establishment was ridiculed with hateful antisemitic slurs regarding my religious attire which I found disrespectful as I had done nothing to insure it, after being rudely escorted to my room and my bags crassly tossed onto the floor of my room. If that wasn't bad enough I requested room service the following day during a long period that I would be out of the room, and upon my return I see that room service had not been to my room, and when I inquired about the reason for this I was told quote ( can't you clean up after yourself?) Then they explained that my room hadn't been cleaned not because of under staffing or high quantity of business which would have been understandable but because they operate the expensive rooms like the one I stayed in on rotation to properly distribute tips. All that not even mentioning that the ac in my room was very dysfunctional and caused my room to be very hot the entirety of my stay and although the staff that eventually cleaned my room was polite and quick I believe her name was Jennifer who should be commended, I still regrettably will not be staying with this establishment anytime in the future and would highly discourage this as your choice.”

“Front desk had no idea what they were doing, how many times does the manager have to be called to check someone in.But that’s typical of all hotels, the least qualified are forced to run the hotel in the evenings.$127.00 for a room and no free breakfast.But you can buy breakfast from the bistro/cafe. But they’ll most likely be closed.Noteworthy details: Fridges are off in the rooms, so don’t expect it to keep anything cold. It takes time to get cold and will turn off in 8hrs automatically.”

“When I first arrived here the lobby smelled and I was really thinking twice about it but once I got to my room opened the windows and turned on the ceiling fan and cleaned the room real good and checked the mattress for bed bugs which there was none it is really a good place to stay just mind your own business and pay your rent and you will be good prices for everything is really a good deal it’s a cozy little place to stay I would recommend this place it just needs a little TLC”

“We arrived later in the evening, and the front desk person checked us in quickly. Our room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable, and water pressure in the shower was strong. The only con was the dust on exhaust fan in the bathroom. Housekeeping forgot to clean it. We slept like babies!!! I recommend staying here.”

“Hotel was nice and the lady that checked us in was cool. There was a sex toy hidden in the bathroom that we all got a good laugh out of. It was hidden very well so I don’t hold it against the staff.
