“I went to Halberstadt’s for my first suit years ago and i’ve had a great experience every time I walk into this store. From business casual to full on suits, Clayton and his crew always get me taken care of. There’s been times where I needed a quick turn around on tailoring and they always make it happen. Not to mention their prices are competitive with places in the area. Whether it’s your first time buying a suit or you wear a suit everyday of the week, this is the place to go. The customer service here is outstanding and that’s hard to find nowadays.”

“We arrived and were promptly met by store staff. My son is 24 and 6’5” and largely only shops at DXL. The gentleman who helped him was courteous and was able to help my son while I was able to relax in a comfortable chair. Being the mom, I didn’t have much input but was able to hear the back and forth between my son and the store staff member. Unfortunately I don’t know his name but I can say he was phenomenal. Best $644 we have spent in a long time. (6 outfits for new job). High quality clothes for my gentle giant.Thanks so much to the staff at the West Des Moines Iowa store!”

“I can’t say enough great things about Jodey and her lovely boutique. We traveled from NC to Iowa for a wedding. 4 hours before the wedding, I realized the dress I had packed was ruined. The boutique was in the hotel that we were staying. I quickly ran down stairs, through her doors and said “help”! She pulled me a full outfit together. But going there recently was nice they still have so much one off stuff you can't find anywhere else and the 90's are still very much alive in that store. But with a mix of today's styles as well. “Great place for consignment clothing....Update, ... So, I actually dropped off some clothing items to be consigned at the Loft. They accepted three dresses. I understand the method, the clothing must be in season. I also had summer, clothing, one tote of professional dress items and two boxes of new sandals, still in the box, nope, they didn't accept them. I ended up loading all of this back in my car. My biggest thing is...I have no idea when my items, they did accept, are on the floor, since you don't get any acknowledgement, nothing. I continue to look in their online clothing, and nothing, my items are not listed. The items they "accepted" were three prom style dress, two of which were new, with tags still on them, yes three items, out of a laundry basket full.You must create an account, the consigned clothing items don't even show up in your account. I don't understand why they can't list your items consigned, in your account.Well, then they have you sign an agreement, that if they don't sell your items, they will donate them. So, how do I know that is actually happening, you don't!! Hmm, prob won't take the other items back, just so I can load them back into my car.”
