“Crew Carwash broke the back windshield wiper off my car. They required that a collision/body shop provides a quotation. I called Lafayette Auto Plus, and the rep scheduled an appointment for a free estimate at my convenience. I was in and out in fifteen minutes.They sent the quotation directly to Crew so I didn’t have to sort out the money through either the Carwash folks or the body shop — this made things so smooth for me.Everyone I spoke to was incredibly nice, but Danny went above and beyond for me. He kept me in the loop on the claim status with Crew and ordering my parts, and the repair was done in less than half an hour. Everything was perfect, the wiper is beautiful, and I couldn’t be happier.I truly hope I don’t need a body shop again in the future, but when life happens, I’ll absolutely be visiting Lafayette Auto Plus again. If you’re reading this review, you’re probably looking for a good collision shop, and I can’t recommend this shop enough. 5/5 stars.”

“Kinda rough around the edges but great prices, great service and they do jobs that others won't. I was changing a tire and my lug nuts snapped in half. Needed them removed. Called around town and no "tire" store would touch it. Beneath them, I guess. Someone recommended Big Wheels so I called them. They told me to bring the car in the next day. I did, and left it with them. Had it ready to pick up in a few hours. Heated the lug nuts and got them off. Did not have to replace the studs, which they told me was a possibility. Saved me time and money. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.”

“Had a Honda Shadow fuel tank taken in so I could get a couple of dents and scuffs out. It was a little more difficult as it had a fuel reserve module in it, but he managed to get it done! It did end up need a repaint as well, but he was able to get it all situated for me so that I didn't have to find a place myself. The gallery page on their website is a good representation of the quality of work that was put into the tank for sure.”

“NOV '23 I swapped paint with someone in a parking lot and pushed the rear bumper in a bit. Just got the car back from Maaco. The car looks great, it was done on time, and the estimate was accurate. I went to 6 places for estimates - 1 never answered, 2 told me to come back later, and 3 gave me estimates. Maaco had the lowest price AND the fastest turnaround time of the estimates, and they stuck to their word! Very happy and will go to them first next time.NEW REVIEWJAN 24 Brought in my Fusion to have a crack in the bumper repaired. The folks at Maaco fixed the bumper (and washed off a scuff that I thought was a scratch and wasn’t!). The car looks brand new. It was done on time, and they didn’t exceed the quote they gave me. Still the lowest quoted, fastest turnaround time that I’ve found. Plus, they’re just pleasant to deal with- respectful, responsive, down to earth. My car looks as good as a Fusion can (and very clean)! :)”

“This Gerber site has put its competition across town to shame. After a super poor experience attempting to get an estimate and repair at their competitor, I came to Gerber. Between the estimator (Erin) and the receptionist, they took care of everything on the spot: vehicle inspection and pictures, full printed estimate, getting everything straightened out with insurance, scheduling the repair at my convenience, and even coordinating the car rental for when the car would get dropped off. I got to relax in their nice lobby while all of this was done with an open offer of several coffees to choose from. This really was a night and day difference from my experience at their competitor. “Fantastic service all around. I will be back! I came in with no headlights working. It's been an ongoing problem-the dash wouldn't even show high beam or low beam, and already had fuses checked and relay switch replaced somewhere else 2 mos ago. (Previous mechanic couldn't figure it out, and couldn't look at my car for another 2 weeks.) Turns out it was the wrong relay switch for my car, they replaced all the headlights, cleaned one, replaced the tail light and were done in less than an hour. All for a very reasonable price! (The dealer wanted my car for a whole day and to charge me $150 for the diagnostic alone.) I am so grateful for the quick and permanent fix!”
