“I'm closer to this location and it is also easier to enter and leave then fighting the traffic in at the Mishawaka location. For the most part I don't mind this store. Big selection to pick from at a competitive price plus they do propane refills too. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the 'line cutting'. Both times I've made a purchase, the cashier wasn't even done scanning my items. The next customer in line put their items down and came up right behind me and waited. I haven't even paid or got all my items bagged yet. The next person only 2 feet behind me. Menards is the only place I've seen this at.”

“I was at the Lowes Elkhart store yesterday and asked whether there was some kind of spray or treatment for patio cushions to deter critters. We have a lot of animal life and were leery of leaving patio cushions out. The garden dept. manager Mark came out, explained the store did not yet have a product like that currently in stock but he explained where to find it, how the outdoor section would be set up in a few weeks. He took real time to explain to a low-tech customer (me) not only about their products, but a little about how they reset for different seasons. It's nice to be treated like a human being instead of a "quick survey" taker. Mark is outstanding and rare in retail. Attentiveness has all but vanished in retail, but Mark is Old School straight-shooter customer service at its individualized best. Give him a raise.”

I not only shopped at this Lowe’s, but also a Lowe’s down the street… I had measurements taken at both Lowe’s, and both locations were so dysfunctional I did not go with either for my flooring (tile) needs.”
