“Sutton Road is the best animal hospital in the area for several reasons, and we've been to many specialists:
1) The doctor is exceptionally smart and caring. She recommended a new (approved late last year) drug for our cat that has enhanced his life.
2) These are the nicest staff/vet techs that I have even seen. It's a pleasure to come in.
3) The clinic itself is not chaotic. It's quiet, and you quickly move into a room. Great for skittish pets or ones that don't tolerate others.
4) The costs are truly reasonable, which is odd for a smaller group, but I believe this is because they prioritize care rather than gouging.

I love these guys and highly recommend them.”

“I highly recommend Streamwood animal hospital. My 19 yr old cat was diagnosed with a aggressive cancer, our family brought him in for a final goodbye, we were taken to a special room, the table was draped with a pet bed on top. The lamp was put on and even a orchid on the table. We were told to take our time and to push the button when we were ready . The doctor gave the final goodbye injection. It was a hard, tearful time, but the Dr..staff and the soothing room were so comforting to us. We left with heavy hearts, but thankful to them for being so kind and caring. Thanking them again. “This is a good veterinary clinic. They also do some emergency services too. It is very clean and spacious. I enrolled my new puppy in a Pet Annual Wellness plan which seems to be a good value so far. The vets and techs are kind and genuinely interested in the animals. I don't feel rushed. They answer all my questions. Best of all my dog Molly likes it too! Not afraid.”

“Valley Animal Hospital is such a great place. I moved to this area 3 years ago and was recommended Valley by some friends who also took their animals there. The folks at Valley have taken such good care of my dog!

They have a huge, knowledgeable team of both vets and technicians. Depending on what kind of appointment you're having, they'll let you know you can just see a tech for it, so it can be both easier to get in and cheaper. Turnaround times on appointments are pretty quick, and the couple of times I've needed it, they've been able to squeeze me in for a same-day emergency appointment.

I truly believe the staff cares about me and my dog, and they always take wonderful care of her. Can't recommend this place highly enough!”

I've been bringing my little guy to Dr.'s Stram & Leo since I adopted him at around 9 months old. They have always been so good with him & to him. They take their time answering every question I have. They also explain every suggestion, sometimes twice! They always go above & beyond!

From Tricia in surgery to the wonderful care from Sam & Olivia - He ADORES his Olivia. Heather beautifully grooms him, them Kim and Sabrina take care of us up front. I love being there with them, like a family. So much love.

We just had our first serious issue in 12 years. He had a cystotomy to remove a bladder stone. ( They found it while BEING CAUTIOUS BEFORE ANESTHESIA for a teeth cleaning session ). They kept in close contact with me throughout the day. When I picked him up I thoroughly understood everything I needed to do. They checked on us every day for the next 4 days! He was doing amazing the very next day! Dr. Leo is an amazing surgeon who, like I said, has amazing people around him.

I'm a really anxious, worrisome person. I'm not the "ideal" pet owner a vet would want to deal with. They put all of my stuff aside & think of my baby. I'm really grateful for every one of the people at Elk Grove Pet Clinic.

I hear there are vets that are owned by corporations. Why take the chance of losing the love & individual care my dog gets here?

“All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The prices are better than other veterinarians, as far as I can tell. Their basic yearly plan pays for itself within 3 visits, which is a great value! It's nice not having to pay for an appointment fee when my cat gets sick or has issues. As with any medical practice, I'd still say to do what you can to save money because typically what the professionals want you to pay for through them you can get for cheaper by yourself or by trying another method altogether, but this practice at least readily provides prices when asked and do not seem to be bothered when patients ask for them, unlike some places that seem to think asking about how much we'll have to pay is rude. They have empathy and you can tell they are real people with their own bills who understand their patients have a valid worry about costs. Their new location also seems to be much nicer and roomier!”

“I had to make a last minute appointment due to my dog making a turn for the worst over night. She stopped eating, drinking water and could no longer walk. Glendale animal hospital got me in that morning. My dog Ginger was suffering and they helped me give her peace. She was my best friend for 10 years and I had no idea of what an end of life visit would look like but they made it amazing. Staff were all so kind, sensitive and understanding. “I am a first time dog owner, they had been my Dog’s Dr since she was born , she’s currently about to be 9 years old, they had answered and help me with any questions I had over the years , they had been on top it , I recently had a little scared with my dog where I had to take her to urgent Vet so to them been close , and even they did a bunch of test of my dog they were unable to find the reason was my dog wasn’t feeling well , the next day I call Arlington park Veterinary Hospital her actually Vet , they told me to bring her in , I did and within hrs her Dr was able to come to a conclusion, put her in the right medication and within hrs my baby was back to jump and run around the house , i cnt be more grateful with them , they had been on top when it comes to Dog health I will highly recommend them”

“The staff are always very helpful and friendly. They are bright hard workers, but still take the time to know their patients and their handlers. Dr. Fritz is fantastic. He has an unmatched bedside manner with nervous upset patients (like when my giant dog tries to find a place to hide in the exam room). Once he comes into the room, my dog just stays by Dr. Fritz while he’s being examined. I have had dogs all of my life (almost 45 years). So, I have a basis for comparison. I feel confident in the things that are suggested, advised etc. and I know that Dr. Fritz will make himself available to go over all test results and concerns. I also appreciate the realistic approach. I had some serious personal health issues following a fall and unlike my usual self, I fell off track with my dog’s maintenance medication. Dr. Fritz advised it would make more sense to get him back on track with the medication for a set time before running tests to learn the current status of the issue for which he needs the medication. Why put the dog through more stress? I was also referred to another very reputable veterinarian when my dog needed a service that was outside of their regular scope. I respect the confidence and humility that requires. Seriously, everyone I’ve dealt with there is well above average and are worth traveling for if needed. Finally, I recommend Harper Animal Hospital to anyone for any reason. I’ve had people say things back like, “they are expensive.” The truth of it is simple albeit a bit cliche, you get what you pay for.”

“This is my first google review ever, but it is warranted. I’ve been a client at Heartland for over 10 years. I went there for a second opinion and never left. I always feel like from the front desk to the poor soul who tries to get a urine sample from my dog, we are a team working towards the best health for my pet. At times they have recommended I go to a specialty vet for some procedure, I appreciate that honesty. They treated my dog like he was their own beloved pet. Sometimes I needed help in processing options and often I needed reassurance which they gave generously. My dog became overweight which is not fun to hear. Dr. Hart matter of factly explained the dangers in that and repeatedly gave me suggestions on how to remedy it. Eventually, it worked! As my dog approached his end of life, I needed their forthrightness more than ever. I got the info I never wanted on a Friday. I took the weekend to soak in everything about my buddy. But by Monday morning he was coughing up blood and I panicked! I didn’t want him to be in pain! I wanted him put down now! So on Monday morning I told Dr. Hart that it needed to be very soon! By 11:00 am she and Melissa were at my home where they gently released him from his pain. They were so respectful and helpful to my grieving husband and I. Days later, they sent flowers and a card and even made a donation in my dogs name to a veterinary student scholarship fund. So if you are looking for this type of pet care team, call them today.”

“We have only lived in Illinois for a bit over a year and recently switched from another veterinarian to Village Animal Clinic in Carol Stream. Took our sweet Marley in for some odd coughing and wheezing the other day and she was diagnosed with Bronchitis/Kennel Cough. We have no idea how she got it as she was up to date on shots and is never with other dogs other than her sister. They gave her fluids, did an x-ray to make sure it was not worse than suspected and medications for home. The following day, they texted to check in on her and it was so much appreciated. We finally found our home!!! Thank you so much for being such an amazing office!!”

“We just took our youngest cat to get neutered this week and were amazed at the quality and humaneness of the care Leo received. Dr. Williams called us after the procedure and kept us informed at every step of the way. Our cat developed some symptoms while in recovery, which Dr. Williams took very seriously. “My dog had TPLO surgery at a vet in Chicago and then we came out here for her post surgery care and rehab. The vet was knowledgeable and kind, super great communication and explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and gave me her email in case I had more questions or needed to contact her directly. Also they provide tons of rehab services in house so I was able to plan out and schedule a bunch of different types of treatment really easily. Highly recommend!”

“We took our dog Coke (brother named Pepsi) to Springhill Veterinary Clinic last week. We adopted Coke from an Aussie Rescue Organization about 7 years ago when he was 2 or 3. He had been very abused before he was rescued, so he was very anxious and frightened of many things and situations. He has improved a lot, but is still very scared in several situations, on being riding in the car, and another being entering strange places. He was very anxious when we brought him in, but the people at Springhill were so king and calming. We brought Coke in because he'd been acting pretty sluggish and not at all himself. We had Dr Rettinick (? sorry) and she was wonderful with Coke and with us. She was very thorough and did some tests for Senior dogs. The next day, she called and told us Coke's tests were good, but he was just a little dehydrated. She said we'd keep an eye on that. This place is really good. I know we will take Coke to Springhill Veterinary Clinic for years to come!”
