I walked into The Diamondaire and asked point blank if they had one. I had asked this question of many area jewelers for years.Billy had just returned from a show and happened to have ONE, that was loose. I asked that we get it put into a setting, and that I didn’t care what the cost was. I’d been searching for years, and this stone was sentimental to me.Billy and his staff helped me pick a setting and a few days later I was able to bring home the most beautiful, important ring of my life. I later went back and picked out a band that I thought looked beautiful with my ring; diamonds of course.I’ve been in and out of that store so many times in the last year. To make purchases, sales, get cleanings, resizing or to just chat with friends and love on Adrian.They’re always ready with a friendly smile, hug/handshake and a glass of whatever you’re drinking that day.This is my jeweler. “Incredible customer service! Opted for email Christmas gift card for my wife. Sales person said she would drop off a nicer gift card tonight than the email version. She said the nicer gift certificate wouldn't arrive by mail for Christmas! It reminds me when I was young and door to door sales were popular. My father had ordered some combs and hair brushes for my mom for Christmas. The salesman delivered them on Christmas Eve because he knew they were Christmas presents. He was in his 60's and his wife had died that morning. Granted the gift certificate drop off is not as dramatic. But the thoughtfulness, customer care, and going the extra mile is the same. “I visited HCTB on 2.22.24 & had Kayla help me out. I came in with a specific idea & look in mind, however, the dresses weren’t giving me that “feeling” I was looking for. Kayla was attentive to what I wanted & gave her opinion of what I might be looking for. While I was showing a dress, Kayla went in search of a dress she thought I would like. She came back & said “don’t judge this dress yet, it’s beautiful on” I then tried that same dress on & WOW ! The dress was nothing like what I was envisioning but I was PERFECT! “I've been to Piccard several times now. Once, we went to sell some gold coins, another time we went to change watch batteries, then a third time to help my mother pick out new earrings. Piccard has a small selection, but they all appear to be good pieces. These days, I understand why a jeweler wouldn't want to have a lot of stock - robberies or the cost of goods being high, it really doesn't make sense to have much in stock. But, they do have a lot of catalogs you can review, and he will order anything you want. More so, I trust them. When we went to sell our gold coins, they were US Coins, proof. They said he would buy them by weight, but we would probably get more from a coin dealer. They could have just given us the money and marked up the coins, but they didn't. That earned my trust and my business.”
