“This is my neighborhood hardware store. Not as big as Lowes, Home Depot, or Menards, but a great place to have around regardless. They almost always have what I'm looking for. This is also where I go for LP gas tank exchange. It's always easy to find an employee to help, too.”

When we moved to the area about 10 years ago and I needed to ream out the threads on an old hot water heater drain. I tried a bunch of options but ultimately went to Ace to get a 1/2” tap. I asked for help, they quickly showed me that part, but when I hesitated ($50) they asked what I needed it for. I told them it was only to clean out some threads and I’d probably never use it again. He told me to wait right there and he came back with the tap from their own toolbox. “Just bring it back”. Wait, so you’ll lose the $50 sale and trust me to bring this back? Amazing and a shining example of what we should all support by keeping our business with local, family owned shops.
They will forever be my first stop.
While it’s impossible for them to have everything, the selection is broad and they carry most of what you’ll need.

“Very happy with recent service from AG. He replaced a plexiglass storm window panel with bent aluminum frame, and the hardware on a sliding storm window panel from a porch door. Relatively small jobs, but he took care to complete the repairs right and at a low price. Communication throughout the process was also great. Highly recommended.”
“Not the cheapest spot depending on what you're getting, but the employees tend to be really helpful and nice, and it's definitely a good place if you need a really particular part (such as when our hose valve kept leaking). We usually come in for propane for our business—you can get both tanks and refills here. We are part of their rewards program so we're always getting coupons sent to us. Love perusing the garden center, good plant selection during that season.”

Every kind of bolts, nuts, berings, and bushings springs anything you would ever need it here in stock! I have a 40-minute drive to this store, but I always go here if I need any metrics bolts, any where else is just a waste of time”

“We used Kitchen and Bath Mart in the early 90's for kitchen remodeling in our first home and we were extremely happy with the results. So when it came time to update our kitchen, down stairs bath and master bath in our second home we went once again to Kitchen and Bath Mart in Niles. Working with George was a pleasure, he was very knowledgeable on all levels of the project.
Because of the multitude of choices available it is hard to decide what we wanted, George help guide us by offering options using drawings and examples at their nicely appointed show room.
The project went as planned, in the time frame they proposed. The installation crew consisted of a husband and wife team, Kris and Joann who did a fantastic job, they are truly artists at what they do. They were clean, organized and friendly. As in any major project there were a couple unexpected things that popped up, they were worked around the problems with professional results.
We highly recommend Kitchen and Bath Mart and would use them again.”
“For truck drivers... entrance is the west gate. Pull up to the gate and call the number posted. Pretty easy backing. Unload time is about an hour. Getting to the delivery can have some tight turns but overall not bad.”

“I go here often. It has a small hardware store feel because the employees are knowledgeable and helpful, but is pretty large for a small hardware store once you realize there are two upstairs sections.”
“1st time placing an online order for pick up at this store. After researching, their pricing was better, and they had the exact model # IN STOCK that I wanted, not a similar item like the big box store was trying to offer. The order was placed at 1:20pm. I received the email that it was ready for pick up at 1:55pm.
I didn't walk through the store, but there were quite a few people in there. The lady at the counter was very pleasant. She greeted me with a smile, located my order, and sent me on my way. The process was seamless and easy. I've never given much thought into where I get my items from, but it just makes sense to go to the smaller locations now. I appreciate these stores a lot more than I once did. I'll be back.”

“I recently needed a handyman service to fix my front and back storm doors. There were issues with both doors that other handymen weren’t able to fix. Manny came out and identified the problems right away. He was able to get both doors back in working order quickly and efficiently!
Manny was knowledgeable and customer service oriented. He did a great job repairing both doors. I was very happy with the results. I would hope to use him in the future if I have additional handyman needs.
I give him 5 stars!”
