“My Business has used Miller Ace for 29 years. They always have whatever we need for the maintenance and operation of our shop.Always helpful, always nice to see familiar faces like Leslie back in the day and Maria. Our “go to” hardware store.”

7306 W Grand Ave, Elmwood Park“I just replaced a pedestal sink in my 90-year old bathroom and the guys at Elmwood Supply helped me every step of the way. They talked me through how to do it, sold me the right parts at a fair price and nothing more and were very supportive of me, not a plumber - embarking on this big project. Highly recommend this shop to anyone doing a home plumbing project no matter what your skill and confidence level. They’ll make you feel like a pro!”
6:30AM - 5PM
4810 Oakton St, Skokie“They carry things that big box stores do not.Lumber is generally higher quality than big boxers as well. They have PenOfin wood stain. Barn door kits.Staff are knowledgeable.”
“Fantastic place & atmosphere. There are very few hardware stores that I feel like wondering around in and checking out every isle - well, maybe one, and this is it. Also, the only one that I've ever gone back to in order to pick up an extra set of mini - Rockem - Sockem Robots. ??”
“Kitchen & Bath Mart gave us the best renovation experience we have ever had! We had a horrible experience with another company who only replaces showers. We were a bit skittish about redoing the rest of the bathrooms, but after meeting George at Kitchen & Bath Mart, we immediately trusted him. George did not disappoint. He (and Joe) thoughtfully designed two beautiful bathrooms, which perfectly matched two showers that they didn't even put in. George was unfailingly prompt, reliable, thorough and professional, every step of the way. George, Joe and Dennis kept us updated, started our project exactly when they said they would, and and helped to create two bathrooms that felt like luxury at a very reasonable cost. The construction team, headed by Shaun, was as professional, prompt, courteous, and detail-oriented as George and his team. Shaun and his team were even able to help us with much-needed drywall and paint repairs in our home, which were not part of our original project. We are forever grateful to Kitchen & Bath Mart! We will definitely go back when and if we ever need to redo our kitchen. Highly, highly recommend. Kitchen & Bath Mart is one in a million.”

7:30AM - 8PM
1175 Lee St, Des Plaines“Possibly the largest and most varied stocked Ace in the area.I was shocked when I walked in by how big the store was, it seems to go on and on.Each area of the store is well marked Which makes it easy to find what you need quickly.I was looking for a simple switch and after about 10 minutes of Looking, I found Angelo and he found the switch with his seconds. He was the helpful hardware man.Convenient location, plenty of parking and well stocked, can you ask for anything more? And, IT’S VETERAN OWNED!!!!!!!!!”
“They’re always super helpful, help you find just the right size bolt. Even when I just want to wander, it’s amazing how much stuff they have, I always end up grabbing a few more things I forgot I needed.Convenient bike rack right out front, and the pace pulse bus stop too.”
“I have shopped at this location for over two years, and their service has been consistently efficient, thorough, reliable, and always thoughtful. Ms. June is a gem of a Godsend, and I am grateful for her commitment to quality service to me. People who are from diverse backgrounds and experiences are welcome and that made me feel safe and seen and heard there. See you soon! ProudCustomer!”
“Very happy with recent service from AG. He replaced a plexiglass storm window panel with bent aluminum frame, and the hardware on a sliding storm window panel from a porch door. Relatively small jobs, but he took care to complete the repairs right and at a low price. Communication throughout the process was also great. Highly recommended.”
“Worked with David in the Repair department on a Toro snowblower. My experience could not have been better, he was thorough and fixed the problem the first time around in a friendly professional manner.”
“Excellent service from PumpBiz - they're quick, friendly, easy to work with, and honour their price-matching guarantee. They also have a great inventory and offer recommendations and service/support. HIGHLY recommend for all of your pumping needs!”
“Helpful, knowledgable, and genuine people. A good selection of typical things you'd look for in a neighborhood hardware store. The lumber selection is pretty good, too, and the cuts they do (for a fee) are substantially better than big box stores. If they don't have something, folks I've talked to are more than happy to refer you to another local store that might help. My go-to for all hardware and projects.”
“Why spend 30 to 60 extra minutes at a big box store when you can park and get in and out under 10 minutes here.Competitive prices but exceptional help.Unlike trying to find someone in an orange or green shirt who works in a specific department and avoids contact; here they seek you out to see if there is anything they can help you with. And they have always been good at advice on a project.Support your local hardware store or you will loose it.”
“For truck drivers... entrance is the west gate. Pull up to the gate and call the number posted. Pretty easy backing. Unload time is about an hour. Getting to the delivery can have some tight turns but overall not bad.”

8109 Austin Ave, Morton Grove“America and Wally helped me out today in the paint department. Got my paint mixed today to the perfect shade. The customer service was also on point. Come check them out!!”
“I go here often. It has a small hardware store feel because the employees are knowledgeable and helpful, but is pretty large for a small hardware store once you realize there are two upstairs sections.”
8AM - 5:30PM
1219 Wilmette Ave, Wilmette“My husband went there on my recommendation (we live in the city and were in the area) and he was skeptical that they would have what he needed. I waited in the car while he went in (he can be there for eternity) and he came back with everything on his list. He raved that they were friendly, knowledgeable and HELPFUL.He also said on the whole, the store was very clean and organized compared to the other smaller hardware stores closer to our condo.”
“Love this place. For the most part everyone is helpful and most are friendly lol. I hear a lot of people nicknamed the store; CRAPPY BEAVER! But I don't think it's CRAPPY at ALL!”
“We thought we'd add a digital scan of an invoice from the "original" True Value Company (for those that are interested in the company's history).”
“Awesome, friendly, helpful service! The prices of merchandise is reasonable and it's easy to find what you're looking for here. The store is clean and organized.”

5035 Oakton St, Skokie“I stopped by Ace Hardware today to pick up some screws because the ones that came in my flush mounting kit were too short. Even though they were like 5 minutes from closing, Carlos downstairs was able to find the ones I needed and I was able to finish my project! Thanks so much guys!”
“Great place, always asking to help if I need it. Yet willing to let me just wander when I want to. Staff are super to work with, straight answers to my questions.”
“Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. They cut glass and fix window screens within walking distance of my home. Such a small store that’s filled with so much valuable stuff. A real hardware store!”
9:30AM - 6PM
3639 W Fullerton Ave, Chicago“I went nuts for Yu’s bolts!Screws actually, but I liked the wording better. Seriously, walked out of here for less than $5, and I know I would have spent twice as much getting a few masonry screws and washers at the box stores.”
“Always have staff available to help which is a rarity these days. They've evolved their floor plan to have more home goods assortment also. Great paint department with on-staff expert willing to help with projects. Huge focus on grilling and smoking equipment too.”
