“I've been here about ten times since I came to Illinois. This is a good price/quality ratio. The workers are very nice people, there are no unpleasant smells.”
“The interior decor was a little tired and dated, but the rest of the hotel was excellent. Great pool with splashpad for luttle kids. Hot tub was excellent and quite spacious. Breakfast was excellent. Service was very freindly and you could tell they were proud to work at this location.
Noteworthy details: The pool here isn't your typical budget hotel pool. It has a variety of depths, a volley ball net, beach balls to play with, a splashpad (gated) for toddlers and little kids, a great big hot tub you could fit a football team in.”
“I love Tru hotels, they are all clean modern and at very reasonable prices. The breakfast is always fresh and good with coffee offered throughout the day. “When we checked in the gal behind the desk took us up to our room, only to find out is was further down the hall from elevator. So she went back down to the desk and got a room closer to elevator, which was great as my husband is on oxygen. Then she helped me carry my bags up to our room. I then asked her if we could have a small birthday cake later in evening and they were very accommodating for us. I don't know the gals names but one had a tag with "Dia ". I do know we'll be staying at Hampton Inn in the future.”
“This is the second time we have stayed there. It is ok for the value, rooms are clean, friendly and helpful employees. We will stay there again next yearr. No complaints. This is not a luxury hotel if you are expecting one.”

“Five stars! Front desk staff was professional, kind, and considerate. They went well beyond their call of duty. Patrons were respectful and friendly as well. Manager is present on-site and was more than willing to assist in any way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. My room was very clean and neat. Bed and pillows were homelike. 24 hour monitored security cameras made me feel safe. Thank you Candlelight for accommodating my stay during a very transitional period in my life. Felt like home.”
