“I went to Home Depot today looking for some paint and the man at the paint station (I think his name was Jeff) was SO helpful!!! He realized I didn't really know what I was doing or what products I needed, and he took the time to explain the process, recommend certain paint techniques, helped me select which products to buy, and answered all my questions. I've never had such incredible service at a store like this before. He was so focused on helping his customers that I didn't get a chance to properly thank him before he was off to help someone else. Please give Jeff a raise because whatever you are paying him is not enough! :) Even the lady who checked me out was friendly and greeted me with a smile. 10/10 experience shopping at this store, I will definitely be back if I have any other home improvement needs!”

“Great "small town" hardware store. Never understaffed. You can always find someone to help you. Very nice selection and competitive prices. You can shop online and pickup in store, or go in and talk to someone if you're not sure what you need. Services like screen repair and key duplicating are offered. Plus, you can get in and out in five minutes, and you don't have to walk a mile wandering down endless aisles filled with everything except what you need. The best attribute, though, is the people. Helpful, friendly, and a pleasure to do business with.”

“I don't know how this happened but I went in to buy four screws and four washers. Somehow I ended up paying seven dollars for them. I was still in the parking lot and figured this is not right. I go back in and they saw I had been overcharged and it only cost about two dollars. Strange to be so far off. But they fixed it with no problems”

“What's not to love when the conversation deals with inexpensive tools, gadgets and the like. It's possible many of their goods are produced overseas and if that's a bother, seek out online whiteboards that discuss all the American made items. Stopped in randomly to look around. Found a handy tool to clear a clogged sink(in seconds), a ridiculous amount of rubber bands and a set of tool box accessories, all of which were on sale. There is always some sort of price reductions on useful items you may not (necessarily) need but could have use for one day. With that said, also got some solar pathway pucks for the yard. As seen on TV quality. If you have one of these local to you, it's worth joining their loyalty perks program so you stay up-to-date on price breaks. If you're in the services/ trades, they have many of your needs and offer used equipment for sale.”

“Always greeted when we come in. Staff always ask what they can help us with. They sell key fobs and program them.Recently ordered a key fob.. cheaper then the dealer... Joe did the setup. 5 minutes later key fob failed. He was on the phone with the manufacturer right away! New one to be sent out. But Joe calls me 5 minutes later and says another one was located!!! Joe programmed the new one and made sure it was working. Even found out the first one was defective from the manufacturer. His professionalism and customer service is very much appreciated!”

My husband and I were buying a gun safe, ready to spend alot of money for it.We initially were at the menards in carpentersville where we were horribly treated by the manager and resorted to taking our business elsewhere. Katlin initially was in the tile area helping a couple , after she finished with them, she immediately apologized for the time we waited and immediately assisted us in picking out the right safe for us, she.checked the safe herself and walked us through the resetting of it and how to use it. “I wanted to buy a Razor electric dirt bike for my grandson. The bikes are available online, but need to be assembled. I contacted Lowe's and spoke with Jasmine. The level of customer service from Jasmine and her team was exceptional. She ordered the bike and kept in contact to let me know when it arrived at the store and when assembly was completed. She even arranged to have the bike kept in the customer service department until I was ready to pick it up so it would not get scratched. Jasmine and her team were amazing! If you are looking for a bike, I highly recommend Lowe's.”
