I called Omar’s and they have chicken pieces.In addition to the usual bodega products, they have a small but nice selection of meats that look very fresh, as well as deli meats and cheeses. The ground beef looked nice and lean so I got some of that too. They also have fresh fruits and vegetables- again small, but fairly comprehensive. And fresh dairy and ice cream, and a few baking and household items. A good place to pick up a few things.If they can keep me in chicken pieces, I’ll keep going there. ?”

“It's a small corner store/small business in a small building but it pulls it's weight and I mean that LITERALLY they have a wide and good selection of groceries, drinks, ice cream, medicine, smoke-ables from cigarettes to cigars and just about anything else, pipes, chips, liquor, some really cool and affordable lighters and torch lighters, it's got an ATM it's got your soap/washing needs for a small store you can't help but to admire the strive and the want to stick out among other bigger stores or chains and around the area there's plenty of competition but I definitely recommend this place for locals and none-locals touche to the owner ??”

“Your allowed to grab your own carnitas there typically a line for them on the weekends. I recommend supporting your local grocery stores and there foods like the cooked carnitas here. Very reasonble on price per pound we spent about 16 bucks for 2.lbs. we will be back because the carnitas here were well seasoned and cooked.”
“If you're in the area, give this specific supermarket, which is tucked away in a residential neighborhood in Cicero, a try; I'm sure you'll be impressed. It's a terrific location to buy for local Hispanic foods of all kinds and liquors. The service is also excellent.”

“Inside the place is not expressive, but the products made there such as the masa, tortillas and tostada chips are authenticity mexican made. No preservatives, chemicals or by products. Cornmeal, lime, salt and water, that's it. The flour tortillas are a different because those are made with other by products.”

“I’m generally not a fan of Dollar General, but this one is awesome. Very clean store, very friendly and helpful staff, and an overall good environment. I came in, looking for something specific, and I could not find it on their shelves because they did not have more in stock - they were sold out. Xiomara took initiative to call other locations for me to find out where I could get what I was looking for - she didn’t want me to have to go to each store and check. Both Xiomara and Ricka made me think positively about Dollar General! Both were very helpful! A+”

“I LOVE their carnitas and menudo, they have absolutely the best in the Cicero area. They even offer a order in option which allows you to reserve your carnitas/menudo since they do sell out rather quickly. I make sure to set an alarm to confirm I get my fix of carnitas/menudo. If you haven’t had any do definitely recommend you set your alarm accordingly for this weekend. Absolutely ?????”
