“I’ve been going here since I was a kid! I love this store. It’s perfect for grocery shopping, getting your favorite snack, or even if you need some hygiene stuff. Their meat is incredible ! I love them so much here. I don’t get to really get to go here much anymore since I moved away, but after visiting today I wanted to give them an amazing review for being the sweetest, kindest people ever.”

“Convenient store that often has just about everything. Not a large selection.. but in a pinch if you happen to need saltines or spaghetti sauce, he's gotcha covered. He's friendly and always tries to remember you.”

“This spot is def a hidden gem. Not surprised that it was not found on yelp. When you walk in through the front it is a store front, but the real magic happens in the back. Everything from menudo, to home made tamales, to tacos can be ordered in the back. If you enjoy real home cooked Mexican food this is the place for you. I started off with a simple but delicious bean taco. It sounds easy but there's an art to it and when I tried to ask how they made the beans the answer was simple "secret recipe." Then I moved to the main dish, menudo. What a joy that was, simmering and quite delicious and then I finished the meal with homemade tamales. Guys if you're looking for authentic Mexican food this is the spot for you. Ask for Lola when you walk in. Like I said think of this spot as a speak easy of food, hidden gem is in the back. You can also ask Lola about catering.”

“Probably the best place to get fruits in the area. Their prices are reaaally good, even if occasionally they leave out certain fruits a few days past their prime. People don’t seem to understand that fruits do, in fact, go bad when not exposed to chemical toxins. The selection of everything else is very decent, and products tend to use higher quality ingredients.”

“Like the store and it has the products I need. If they just lowered the volume of their music. It's very aggressive, they need ambience music at a low volume.”

“I absolutely love this Mexican grocery store! It's a hidden gem with a wide variety of authentic ingredients and products. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the prices are reasonable. It's my go-to place for all my Mexican cooking needs! They also have a sit down restaurant in the back for customers to eat, the steak tacos are amazing! Highly recommended!!”

“Best market around. I ride the train there. The market is only about 200 feet from the train platform. The girls that work there are ALL so beautiful and pleasant. I often make an excuse to take a train ride there even if I need nothing except a smile.”

“Came here to eat as their little restaurant is kind of a hidden gem. Had great "caldo de res" and it was amazing. Will try their tacos next time as they looked great. This place is inside a market that is super clean. Their produce is super fresh. Highly recommend!”

“Overall, this store is ok. It's usually pretty well stocked. However, there are 2 major issues worth noting. #1 The butchers are rude. There are usually more than 2, and they tend to ignore customers until they see fit. #2 even if you go through a checkout line with a cashier, you end up bagging most of the stuff yourself. And if you're not done bagging by the time they're done scanning your stuff, they start on the next person.”

“The Dollar General has been closed for a while now due to the fire that occurred in November 2022. It looks like they are working towards reopening but not sure exactly when that’ll be. I look forward to shopping there again as it’s conveniently located & I find the prices to be reasonable. The staff isn’t the friendliest but it’s only a brief interaction to pay so I don’t mind too much.”
