“I often go to another tire store (LS) where I get great service but expensive tires and limited selection. I was reluctant to try Discount Tire as I did not think I would get much except a discount price. But I was very surprised and impressed by the professional, quality service this store (State St, Boise) provided. Not only was the price* excellent for the top brand, Michelin, tires we purchased but the care, courtesy, speed and quality of care was outstanding. They mounted and installed eight tires and all the work to go with them in fifty minutes. Plus their desire to inform me to use the free extra service features, ie, check pressure, update tpms, tire rotation etc, was genuine and encouraged. Their showroom and waiting area was comfortable, clean and in great condition along with their shop and parking area. Everyone and everything was professional and first rate through and through. I plan to make Discount Tire on State St in Boise my go to tire store from now on. Kudos to Javier and his team - You all did an excellent job!! *The money I spent on my Michelin Defender 2 tires - one of the top rated tire companies in the U.S. - was cheaper than the mid-grade store brand tire (Japanese) from another competitor. “Got a flat while traveling :( Fortunately we were staying in Meridian for the night. Looked at all the big tire shops (you know who I’m talking about ) to see if I can get an early next day appointment with no luck. Called commercial and was told to drop in the next morning and they could help. I showed up a little after opening and was back on my way an hour later- for FREE! Great customer service, friendly staff. Thank you!!!!”

We’ve purchased tires from them on multiple occasions and have always been happy with them and their service and recommendations. I’m not very knowledgeable about cars so they are very patient to answer all my questions and I never feel like I’m being misled or taken advantage of due to my lack of knowledge (which has happened to me at other vendors). “I took my car in for a tire rotation and also to have them check my brakes because they were squeaking and I suspected they needed to be replaced (I've put 80k miles on the car since I bought it and have not replaced them yet).It didn't take them long to call me back and let me know that my car was done and that my breaks did not need to be replaced (the squeaking is from dust and build up, which they cleaned).I was shocked! They could have easily sold me breaks I did not need, because I was expecting to need to replace them and would not have thought anything of it if they'd told me I was right (in fact I was much more surprised when they told me I was wrong lol).Not only that, but when I got back to pick the car up, they didn't even charge me for anything.To say that I am pleased with their honesty and great customer service would be an understatement.To top the entire thing off, the woman who helped me with everything (I'm terrible with remembering names, so please forgive me for that... I believe her name started with a C) was extremely friendly and helpful, and an absolute pleasure to work with.I cannot recommend this place enough, and I will be back to them again and again with my future car servicing needs :)God bless!”

“I got my Audi wheels chemically stripped and sandblasted. They did give me discount since the wheels were partially sandblasted but just need to sit in a chemical bath and repeat the sandblasting. Great job, but did miss some spots in the lug bot holes.Why would anyone wanna touch clean sand blasted aluminum with greasy/ dirty hands? I provided clean heavy duty black bags when I dropped them off and they didn’t reuse them :/Could’ve prevented the hand grease marks. Just will be more intensive to remove before primer and paint. Thanks”

“Super friendly and honest people. Needed an oil change and have been having some squeakyness in the brakes so got an inspection too. The inspection was free and there was no pressure to get my breaks replaced even though the pads were down to about 2mm. They also filled up my tires while they were at it which were 5 pounds under pressure and sent me on my way.”

“Wanted to thanks the folks at Les Schwab. Last August I needed an alingment after some work done at Star Tire (also great folks). Well, I need to new tie rod end bring the cost up quite a bit, but they showed it to me and I had the work done. Fast forward to the other day 4 months later while working the car, I realized the Bellows boot had come loose. I stopped and presented this to the Les Schwab and they were quick to check it out and make it right, it seems these boots are held on by zipties and over time had worked its way loose. Anyway, thanks guys, for us trying to keep our older cars on the road your commitmant and top drawer service is a welcome one.”

If you ever need help with your tires go see Darrin, he’s a problem solver and Phil does great work. They got me back on the rode fast for a fair price!!! I highly recommend!!!!!”
