“Great deals, a wide variety of products. My personal favorite sections are kitchen, home, and the planner/journal/picture frame/card/random games and books isle. They have neat snacks that I never see anywhere else, and it's a great place to get a candle at a good price, and there's a LOT to choose from. I, at times, will come needing a present for someone, and I just mosey around until I've collected what I've felt are going to be enjoyable gifts! It's not hard to find something for everyone there.”

“If you have access to get on base this is in Military Housing area, and you will need it to buy stuff. GPS ended away from the store but you will be turning right to be able to see it. It's a smaller version of the NEX in Pearl City. It has stuff you could get at Walmart, Walgreens, or Target. Workers are friendly and helpful when you have a question. Not very busy store and it is away from the busy areas of Ewa Beach. They have different selections to choose from. If you go to the beach and forget something this store is really close by. Very calm area! You can also fill up gas but it is comparable to the NEX Pearl city and Safeway. check the gas app to check.”

“We had lost a wallet in the store (big oops) and searched for a while before security called up a manager to help us. The managers name is Allen and oh man was he a huge help! He was super approachable and helped in every way he could. He covered all the bases and made us feel like everything was going to be okay! No lie Target, you have an awesome manager working there! “Wow, this Main Exchange at Schofield is massive! It has lots of selection and also features vendors by the main lobby.This Main Exchange seems to be very well managed and the store is very clean and organized.They are currently doing some renovations but it’s only in the main lobby area.”

“One of the places that hasn’t changed on Ford Island in 30 years except to add a very small barbershop and Subway. Parking can be a challenge. Five minute walk from the Aviation museum Mai it’s a good place to pick up drinks and snacks. Awesome support place when touring Buford Idland!”

The tailoring shop is busy a lot of the time so if you need items tailored you'll want to get them in early to make sure you get them back in time for your event.”

“Went on 26 DEC for after Christmas shopping. The last time I was here was about 6 years ago and what I will say is the store is vastly improved since 6 years ago. Preciously, the store was in complete disarray with piles of unfolded clothes on tables and clothes half hanging off hangers. The store on 26 DEC 2023 was very neatly organized with everything in neat order.”

“Macys is still one of the few department stores that offers a great variety of quality items, clothing & shoes without breaking the bank. They still have visible employees that are helpful. That's a bonus nowadays with this generation. Still one of my favorite stores for special occasions and every day delights. Keep up the great choices and service.”

“Oahu has always been an Island with military significance. From the 1795 Battle of Nu'uanu (Kaleleka'anae), World War II, and the current posture, military forces here form a key element of the defense of the free world. With so many military installations on island, there are a plethora of shopping centers available to the active and retired ID card holder. I like Hickam most especially because of the compact and well laid out complex where commissary, BX, food court, and vendors are all within walking distance. You can find some good bargains also. While Hickam AAFES does not have the volume of a Schofield Bsrracks PX or the breadth of a Pearl Harbor NEX, I've been able to achieve some impressive savings here. When I moved back here 5 years ago (with only 2 suitcases), I needed to buy a bed & mattress. The cheapest NEX set was too "Gucci" for my Spartan simplicity. I was able to find a well made firm and comfy mattress at this AAFES store for $900 less than at the NEX. Since then I've purchased many items here and have never needed to take anything back. I also appreciate how at the customer service desk you can order pineapples for shipment back to loved ones in the mainland. Definitely recommend Hickam to all ID card patrons and encourage everyone to check prices here first. Mahalo for reading my review.”

“Been going here for years cool to have a place on the west side to go to. Hours are good and usually not so much of a line. Drinks are kept VERY cold. Which is VERY good when you been at the beach all day....gas is about the same as Costco lol but usually not a long line. No more subway and they stop putting hotdogs out after 2. Probably a good thing so your not eating whole day old hotdog lol. Be aware that if you get a haircut here there are usually LONG lines. The girls are efficient but stil the lines are long. Mostly retirees reliving their military days and guard folks on the guard weekends. Must have an ID card to get a haircut tho.”

“I mainly come here when I need to get my medications refilled. The staff at the pharmacy are very nice and remember me every time I pick up. But since I'm refilling my meds, I love browsing around. Sometimes I get $5 off coupons if I spend $5 or more. Those are great to have. Their app also has more coupons that you can use also.And while I'm in the store, I can stop at Starbucks and get some coffee or refreshing tea to go.”
