“You can't go wrong if you are in the area. The selection is so big you can't just walk the isles, you have to look at every box because they are all different snacks. I wish their drinks were better priced/ more unique beverages but you don't come here for drinks, you come to find the 5 for a $1 deals on snacks that are normally $3 each”

“Foodland is the land of the loyal. Nice people pleasing to the senses. It smells delicious in there and the food is fresh. I lost a gold and diamond ring and it was there when I went back they held it in the customer service desk. Then you get loyalty points when doing a survey after your purchase which saves you money when you choose to apply it to you bill at checkout….. all I need is for you all to start delivering!!!! You’ll shut these other stores down. Trust Me you have an awesome produce section and your prices are competitive!”

“So this will be lengthy so TLDR: the staff here today was amazing and so helpful! Thankful for them all. Now onto the story.I got word that I needed a cake with specific words on it, and party platters for a large group within 24 hours. I called this Safeway and both the lady at the bakery and the deli were just so understanding and helpful. They helped me get everything ordered that I needed! Fast forward to today when picking up said food, the servers went down at the store. Thankfully I had extra time, but they went out of their way to ensure I was able to get my things and get out after dealing with customers upset with them for something they couldn't control. Kudos to them for being so calm and understanding and explaining that to customers. Then the food. The pinwheels I ordered-delightful in every way. The large fruit platter- Delicious fresh, juicy, fruit with everything peeled and ready to go. And lastly the cake- I'm always skeptical about grocery store cakes but this one... This was so good. I asked for help when ordering so can't take all the credit, but they made a red velvet half sheet cake with fresh (I mean freshly sliced) strawberries and cream cheese frosting in the middle with cream cheese icing and decorated it beautifully! ALL of this happened within 25 hours.Needless to say these ladies and gents were wonderful and such a help and the food was so good. I know where I'll be going for catering.”

“Interesting I didn't stumble upon this service during the pandemic, but did you know Safeway offers curbside pickup - you just need to spend a minimum of $35! This service is amazing and the staff that has shopped for me and communicated substitutions has always been friendly and helpful. The curbside pickup in particular, you do pay for the bags they'll need to shop/bag your groceries, you can't bring your own. But to my knowledge, you get the store pricing (not some marked up price) and you can clip online coupons and get sale items, just as if you are shopping in-store. This service has been a massive time saver and I'm so thankful for not only the service but the friendly staff. Mililani Safeway doesn't have designated stalls to park in. During my first order, they told me to park near the front curb, near to the blue post office mailbox.”
