“A hole in the wall crystal shop. Beautiful selections. Not too expensive. They have handmade items there like this wand with feathers and a huge crystal at the tip. I'm def going to go back and buy one of them lol. The dog is friendly and the guy at the counter was very polite and helpful.”

“Everyone is friendly! You can walk with a worker to pick out your tree or pick one that was already freshly cut. They will cut and wrap your tree for you and even help you load it. Be sure to tip the workers!”

“Go there for purchasing odds and ends (tools and supplies needs for house and garden). Always asked about being in military for discount but difficult to get their card so do not get it. I have a notation on my driver's license as being a veteran of the military so what can they not accept this.”

“Especially with the many Native Hawaiians, living in diaspora, due to rising costs of housing and living, we have many opportunities to not just support local businesses but to support Native Hawaiian businesses. Homegrown offers a venue for supporting many Native Hawaiian businesses who many not have the start up ability to establish their own shop. Easy one stop shop for lots of different authentic Hawaiian gifts, household needs, clothes, accessories. While all of these separate businesses may have their own website, Homegrown allows you the opportunity to see these items up close and try on clothes before purchase. Since most of these businesses are not just Native Hawaiian but also offer items made in Hawaii, rather than outsourcing, some items may cost more than the average but I find that they're still reasonable.”

He was very patient and professional and made sure he helped find what furnitures we wanted. We were so pleased what Austin found for us and he set up everything for us. “We've looked all over Oahu for unique souvenirs and couldn't find any...until we came here! This is one of those rare mom and pops shops with unique, locally-made stuff. The husband and wife make everything. Their artwork has a different, vintage vibe. We bought some for our bathroom and pool room and bought a few more small signs for our friends back home. The only problem was picking out which ones we liked best. If you're looking for gifts that are cute and different, this is the place to go!”

“Can I buy the entire store?! We're currently in search of some islandy decor for an outdoor portion of our house & SoHa Living had so much of what we were looking for. Everything is young, modern, not too kitschy, & with the sale they had going on when we popped in, priced well, overall. Friendly, non-pushy salespeople. The store ships, but it'll cost you an arm & a leg. Two cheaper options: buy extra luggage or take your purchases to a nearby post office to be shipped home.”

“Just really, really happy with Haul2HI! We ordered the IKEA bed and having it shipped here via H2H has been relatively easy! The pandemic made things slower and I know this for a fact because I was at IKEA in April 2021and the inventory was low, but H2H did their best to get my daughter's bed to us as soon as possible. Communication has been great stop; email response within 24 hours. Their pick up warehouse is in Waipahu and it is so easy to access and pick up big items from this site. My only beef now is that I want to order more furniture, lol! Definitely use H2H for big items - I am recommending them 110%!”

“This store had top quality furniture and we were able to find the perfect Power reclining couch and love seat at the best price! Bernadette greeted us after looking around and pointed us to the right direction for our budget in mind. The staff were flexible and they rapped my set of couches and loaded it no problem. “Been coming to the Waikele Lowe's for years and due to a kitchen and bath remodel I've been going to the home improvement stores frequently I had to post that this store's Customer service has improved dramatically. Last week I was looking for flooring and an associate walked up to me before I even need help. My husband even mentioned that it was rare not to have to look around for help as we have to at the competition. Later another associate helped me to check inventory and as I was looking for the samples to bring home he even marked out a plank as a sample for me to bring home. Last week we also went in for a microwave. Went to 3 places and this store was the only one that had it in stock. It was $10 more than the lowest prices store who told me it was back ordered but $30 less than the other big box competitor. I'm so happy to see a store that can manage to attract and train good employees!”
