“I had a problem getting results on the phone when my phone mysteriously died. I had no way to file my claim online (no phone!), so I spent two hours on the landline talking to call-center people, getting a lot of scripted sympathy, but no results. Finally, I decided to go into the store and was immediately greeted by Ka'imi, a very friendly and knowledgeable young woman who filed my online claim from her phone. She said I should get results within a day, but to come back the following day just in case. She said if the claim didn't work for some reason, she would go to another step. I did end up having to buy a burner phone because I needed to have a phone, so I was able to check the status, and the claim was approved very quickly. I went in the next day to thank Ka'imi, and she remembered me. She said, "I was just asking about you!" It did take 12 days to get a replacement, and to my delight, they sent me a free upgrade! Apparently, my model was back-ordered, so they sent me the newer model. I recommend going to the Ewa store, and if you're lucky, Ka'imi will be there to assist you.”

“Went to get my son the iPhone 11 today (5-19-2024) Renae/Ranay was the one that helped us. I hope I spelled her name right. I didn't notice a name tag on her BUT, after her helping us I asked for her name to thank her. She was kind, patient, very informative & knowledgeable. When we walked in she mentioned to us that the systems were running slow. I'm assuming due to the power outage the night before that's why the systems were probably running slow due to that. She kept reassuring us she was working on getting everything set up for us. It actually didn't take that long, I was expecting longer lol. Glad it didn't & everything worked out great. Today, 5-9-23, we can get a black fabric cap with a red, white, and blue T-Mobile Tuesday decal! The cap will be useful because it's really sunny in Hawaii! The fabric is breathable and washable! I'm looking forward to making good use of it! This location of T-Mobile is at the Kamehameha Shopping Center. I appreciate the shared covered parking lot. It's convenient to have Times Supermarket, Longs, Honu Bakery, Pizza Hut, and Starbucks nearby! Located between Jeans Warehouse and Baskin-Robbins, the cool shop is efficient, clean, and organized. There was a friendly worker outside - on the shaded sidewalk. She greeted customers and helped them retrieve their caps! She also offered us free watches and tablets for signing up for different promotions. Overall, this is a great place for your communication needs!”

“For four days I labored on the phone with tmobile tech support and Sunny and Melvyn at the Pearl City Tmobile store. Tech support did everything possible to restore my internet connection to my Hisense tv. The effort and patience put forth by both Sunny and Melvyn was off the chart. Patient, courteous and truly focused on fixing my issue. Very impressive! In the end I junked the TV and got a Samsung. I'm thoroughly convinced that you cannot do any better than using Tmobile Pearl City as your cell phone provider. Thanks very much!”

“Waiting "area" at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu, Hawaii... There used to be a cell phone "parking lot", but now, it's just a strip of curbing where family and friends can wait to pick up family and friends from the formerly named Honolulu International Airport. I guess I haven't used this waiting area recently. I usually leave for the airport at the arrival time of the flight. By the time I get to the airport, the person has already collected their luggage at the carousel and is on the sidewalk. They just have to tell me the pillar number that's next to them. Note: currently, Terminal 1 is Hawaiian Airlines and Terminal 2 is basically everyone else except Mokulele Airlines. Also: For Terminal 1 Arrivals area, International flights are first and United Airlines is at the end - about pillar number 61. Welcome to the Aloha State!”
