“I was expecting rude people or something but that wasnt my experience. I came at 815 (wanted to beat the crowd). Done at 0843. They don't open until 0830. The nurse or tech was professional but not overly friendly. Honestly I didn't need her to be. She was just normal mainland friendly. Wham, bam, thank you maam.”

“January 23,2024. Just had bloodwork done at the Diagnostic Laboratory here in Pearlridge. I am happy to say the care was excellent. The lady Lisa, who took care of me, was very efficient. So thankful cause the last time I got bloodwork I got jabbed three times. Very stressful. The lab here is clean. The service was swift, the lady knew her job well and drew blood the first try. I was very relieved. I went late morning when it wasn't busy. I give her 5 stars”

“The only place that I will go to get blood work done is Clinical Labs of Hawaii. They are quick, efficient and painless. The staff is quite helpful as well as friendly. The office is clean and speaks of social distancing everywhere.”

“I'm so glad this location is open again! Apparently, I'm not the only one who said that. They closed temporarily due to the pandemic. I went to their other branch when they closed and didn't feel as comfortable. This place can get quite filled and you have to pick a number and wait your turn. Being a Saturday, I was lucky that the wait wasn't as long as I expected. Liz acknowledged my presence and took my blood shortly afterwards. Her demeanor was very pleasant and professional. As inquisitive as I am, I asked her a few questions which she patiently answered. She told me to have a good day when the procedure was done. As I passed the front office counter on my way out, Noelle stopped what she was doing, looked at me and told me to have a nice day too. I mentioned to her how glad I was that they reopened. She commented that she was glad to be back at this branch. Liz also mentioned the same thing earlier. They've got my "five stars" because I've always had pleasant visits even with different people helping me.”

“I use to go to DLS in Mililani but every time I would go there, they had people waiting and you always get a different person. There was times when I got my blood drawn and it would hurt and my arm would bruise. Then, I decided to travel to Clinical Labs since I would be in the Pearlridge area. I'm so glad that I found this place.I'm terrified of needles and Edna is so amazing. I showed her my bruise that DLS left me and she told me from now on, you come to me. I've been to Clinical Labs to see Edna 4 times and she is great. She told me what needle they should've been using because I have little veins. I don't clam up when I go to see her. I feel really comfortable and I hardly feel the needle going in. I haven't had any bruising. Also, she is the only one that does the blood work so I'm happy that I can just go to her.If you are like me and don't like needles and different people poking your arm then go here. Explain to her if your scared. She will make you feel comfortable. The building is old and the office as well but that doesn't bother me at all.I wish I found this place years ago. I will keep making the drive out when I have to do blood work. Please try Clinical Labs at this location and make an appointment as well if you want to. Walk-ins are welcomed. I tried both.”

“I was very happy with the service I received at the Aiea location. Kawai was very good at managing the patients by herself and 1 trainee. Usually staffed with three phlebotomists, she managed 4 patients: 2 children and 2 adults. She did an excellent job finding my vein and taking my blood.”

“I absolutely hate having my blood drawn. Hate it, avoid it, dread it, everything in between. However, about a week ago, on 12-22-2020, at about 11:30 AM, I had to get my blood drawn, and it was the most painless withdrawal I've ever experienced. Seriously! I regret not getting the phlebotomist's name, but he was a young, local/Filipino guy, and if everyone could make a request for him to be their official phlebotomist when they get blood drawn, they'd probably enter/exit that place happier. The 4 stars is for the phlebotomist. The star deducted is for the wait that I had to endure. It took about 35 minutes(!) for someone to come outside and take me in for the withdrawal. I understand it's pandemic precautions, so they aren't letting everyone in at the same time. But, man, perhaps one of the employees can step outside every 10 minutes and let the line of myself and 10 other people know, "Someone will be with you folks shortly. Thank you for your patience" Orrr something.”
