Cumberland Home Depot in Atlanta, GA, is a store dedicated to helping customers with their home improvement projects. The staff is known for being helpful, courteous, and willing to go above and beyond to assist. Customers have shared positive experiences with employees like Stephen, who took his time to help with washer and dryer sales and installations, and Lee, the assistant manager, who personally cut long pieces of shiplap by hand when the saw was not working, saving a customer's project and making their day. Another employee, Trey, helped a customer with a large return by bringing items from the car, demonstrating attentive service. Kalifah also provided exceptional help by assisting customers in choosing the right wood and even sacrificing his lunch to ensure the project measurements were met, showing a high level of dedication and kindness. While the store excels in customer service on the sales floor and in the paint department, some customers have noted issues with the pro department, including long wait times at checkout and delays with the cashiers. Despite this, the overall experience is positive, with many appreciating the store's inventory, helpful staff, and willingness to assist with various needs. Visitors to the store can find a wide selection of tools, appliances, outdoor furniture, building materials, and gardening supplies, making it a convenient place for both DIYers and professionals to get their home improvement needs met.
Kinda crowded and hard to get help when needed. I find myself drawn to Lowes nowadays. They are usually more helpful and it’s easier to find parking at my local Lowes than it is at Home Depot.
