“i just moved to Milton from Navarre. this was our first grocery shopping trip since the move. We'd seen a few different "value grocery" stores while making trips around town and decided to stop here. When I walked in the doors I recognized that this is a "small town" type of grocery store, but everything was well maintained and looked fresh & stocked. My boyfriend and I ended up finding a lot of really good deals here. Like there was a large carton of at least 36 eggs for less than $4. they still have a month before they expire and none of them were broken. We also found sliced cheese and large packages of Bologna and hot dogs for a price less than or comparable to dollar tree plus/frozen sections. In the fresh meat section I did notice some of the meats had discoloration, but for the meat that looked fresh and pink the price was fantastic. They had an eye of round roast that was a killer deal. My boyfriend is excited for me to make more beef jerky. the eye of round is a cut that cost me $26 at Publix, if this eye of round had been three pounds I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have costed any more than maybe $12 At the pic-n-save. All-in-all we bought a lot of frozen foods and staples. Milk was pricey here, though. We bought 36 items. Only spent 6 cents in taxes on two kool aid packets. The rest was non-taxable. we Paid less than $64 for everything. Which means if I averaged out what we spent on all we got we spent $1.76 per item. i don't think thats too bad.”

“I put ice-creams in the toy isle and let them melt, evilmaxxing little by little, next I will come in on 9/01/21 and place the whole contents of the icecream freezer into the value valley isle and wait for someone to trip on the gooey mess. Cant wait to see what happens”

“Conveniently located close to the exit ramp. Plenty of parking. Some of the lights flicker. Employee checking me out was either having a conversation or talking to someone I could not see. Lots and lots of inventory. Some aisles are narrow.”

“Richard is absolutely amazing. Every time we or anyone else walks in the door, we are greeted! He never lets anyone enter or leave without saying hello or goodbye. He is so friendly and always makes sure we find what we need before leaving the store. He makes the difference at this store and deserves a raise , as he is the reason my husband and I and many friends decide to go to this Dollar General location for a quick stop, instead of other stores!”

“I can tell you there are two other Dollar Generals that are closer to my house then the Dollar General Marketplace on dogwood. I have learned I need to just drive to the marketplace every single time. They are the only store that is ever stocked properly. They are the only store that is not storing product on their floor. I can't tell you how many times I have been in the middle of cooking and needed one ingredient. Only to find my self stoping at 4 different stores and wasting my time.”

“I go there for the great deals that Publix does NOT offer. Buy 1 get 1 free. You have to go on the right days for even better deals. Last night I bought some WILD caught Alaskan SALMON. I prefer the good deals that are marked down, best before a certain date. The SALMON was great, as always. And I saved the other portion for tomorrow. Great place still has the local touch. Not a corporate monster. Keep up the good job!:)”

“The place was clean, inside and out. Both cashier's were really nice and bathroom was clean as well. They seem to stay busy all the time and usually i don't go in when they are... However, this time, i was on my own so i had to go in and in the way to the door i was saying to myself that many customers in such short time, these folks going to be rude and aggravated.... When i walk through the doors though, so i heard was good evening and how are you today and they were courteous the whole time. Recommended to anyone for a convenient stop.... NOTE: Cops and ambulances seem to fluent this place pretty regularly...”

“It was pretty packed in there couldn't barely get around in there and you never have what they're supposed to have. So I went in there Saturday where I purchase the sipping save where you can get a drink a day for 30 days 9.99 wow what a major disappointment that was I get there only the fight for parking spot I go in and not one of their Froster machines are working then to top it off they didn't have lids barely any cups and nobody really wanted to help me so I left there disappointed and without a drink I'm so glad I went there to get something cold to drink and I'm so glad I spent over $10 on a sip and save for a drink that I couldn't even get. Wow how disappointing this is!!!”

“It's a Dollar General. It is not a gross DG as some others are. This one is usually clean and well stocked. Workers are generally friendly. Don't expect five star service from Dollar General, but as DGs go, this one is usually a pleasant experience.”

“It wasn't too crowded about 4:00 this afternoon. It was pretty easy to maneuver the aisles. I was able to find items I came for which was a plus. However it was so uncomfortably warm at the front of the store I couldn't wait to escape.”
