“We decided Sabal Club was right he for us, and couldn’t be happier with that decision. The leasing office staff made sure our move-in process smooth and easy. Their assistance was invaluable, and they truly made us feel welcome. The location is a dream. We’re right next to Wekiva state park, which means scenic nature views, fresh air, and plenty of outdoor activities. Our apartment was in excellent condition when we moved in. Clean, well-maintained, and ready for us to settle in comfortably. The full gym is a game-changer. The pool area is inviting, and the tennis courts are a great option too. The leasing office staff deserves a special mention. They are incredibly friendly, approachable, and always willing to assist. Whether it’s answering questions or addressing any concerns, they have definitely made us feel valued. Highly recommended!”

“I would like to start off by saying I'm glad l made the decision to move to MAA. I just moved in on 2/21, as they adjusted my move in date to accommodate me. Sam and Michelle made me feel at home before the move. They are both very professional and friendly. The unit was in such prestine condition. I couldn't have asked for more. If anyone is looking for a new place to live, I recommend MAA Heathrow! Also, just to add, Dillon on the maintenance team came to repair minor issues this morning. He was very pleasant and explained the maintenance procedures and hours. He repaired the issues very swiftly.”

The maintenance manager and staff are great! Amenities are great, ONLY negative is a few dog owners who have no respect and don’t clean up after their dogs. “I have lived here for about a year and a half and I couldn't be happier! The rent here is very reasonable, you won't find any place else this nice for this price in central FL anymore! The property and the buildings are very well maintained, the pool is very nice and clean, and I have never once had any bugs in my apartment! The office staff, Ms. Cheryl and Ms. Aleyli, as well as all the maintenance staff are always very friendly and helpful! Maintenance responds very quickly if you put in a work order! The other residents all seem very courteous of one another, I've never had problems with loud or rude neighbors here at all.I highly recommend moving here if you're looking for an apartment! I almost crossed this place off my list because of some of the bad google reviews but I'm so glad I didn't!”

“We are Korean, and it was our first time living in the United States. I returned to Korea after living here for a year, and it felt like a dream.When looking for a house, I looked at about 5 apartments nearby, but none were as good as this one.I tried to find a house in Oviedo, near UCF, but even the places with similar prices here had smaller areas.I lived in a place with a lake view next to the pool and clubhouse, and I was very satisfied. There were a lot of people in the pool on the weekends, perhaps because the pool was nice, but it didn't matter because you could swim on weekdays.There was a lot of storage space in the kitchen, and I was satisfied with the dressing room in each room. I had a great time without any inconvenience during my one year stay.The apartment facilities were overall clean and well maintained. The clubhouse and swimming pool seemed to be maintained every day, and it was nice that the pool was cleaned regularly.I was so satisfied with the apartment that I spent a year feeling like I was on vacation at a resort.thank you”

The location is super convenient and is a more relaxed part of the Orlando metro, despite major growth in the last 20 years. I actually lived here twice with a college roommate back in 2002 and then again with my wife just a while ago.”

“We lived here for almost 2 years (2022- early 2024) - and 4 stars is probably a fair estimate of our experience. We ended up moving out because of rent increases, as we would’ve been paying around $300 more than when we initially moved in if we resigned (resign for us was $1830 for a 14 month 2x2). I’ll run it as a good, bad, and ugly so you can relive the experience with us:The good: This place was our first home in Florida. Very friendly and welcoming to people renting from out of state, and Carol is the best person I have dealt with in the apartment industry. Very kind and does her job well. Deserves a raise and a promotion. Ty was the property manager for the first half of our stay, and he was equally as great as Carol. The complex is pretty well maintained and is located very close to everything. Meggan is the current property manager and she does a good job as well.The bad: Hidden fees are everywhere, as this is a Greystar property. On top of your rent every month, expect a ~$10 administration fee, ~$35 a month for valet trash, ~$2 for pest control, $40 for renting a washer and dryer (if you aren’t bringing one), ~$75-85 a month for water and sewer, and a range from ~$80-230 for electric depending on the month and how much you use AC. On top of this you can’t use a standard deposit and must use Jetty, a service that you pay for up front instead (around ~$80 per lease if I remember correctly). Maintenance is hit or miss. Art was our favorite maintenance person, but ended up leaving we believe. Roberto is pretty good and reliable, but anyone else is a wild card.The ugly: We caught wind from one of our neighbors when we were moving out that apparently there was a domestic abuse in the complex and a lady got strangled to death in May of 2023. Can’t verify the claims but it was the reason she was moving out a week after we did because she didn’t feel safe. During a hurricane expect to lose power. For hurricane Ian we were without power for 3 days. Not really something the complex can control, just know there are overhead electrical lines around so it’s more likely. We also experienced a few water main breaks during our time. For one of them the water was turned off for about a day without prior notice. It is an older (mid 80s) complex, so do expect this from time to time.If you made it this far and are considering moving here, it’s honestly a pretty decent place to live if you can afford the rent. Thank you again to Carol for making this place worth missing a little bit.”

“I originally toured with Shemar and he was great throughout the process. However,I just moved in with my boyfriend and the experience was a little rocky at the start. We applied under the impression we would receive a certain floor plan and the apartments wasn't available after all.With this being said, the apartment we ended up moving to is a nice option.We had to move within the week we applied and they were able to accommodate a quick move for us. We're excited to be here and we do love the community.”
