“I visited the Kohl's in Waterbury 4 days after Christmas. I had to complete several post holiday transactions including returning several items as well as a confusing exchange. I was fortunate to get Marris! She was extremely patient and helpful. Marris took the time to check prices I paid to ensure I was refunded the higher paying item and was able to keep my Kohl's cash earned. “This is one of my favorite places to shop! They always have new seasonal items to help add some pizzazz to your home. They also have a large selection of dishes, pans, linens- almost anything you might need for your home. They even have an aisle for pets. Lamps, some furniture, mirrors and pictures give you a selection that you can afford. They get new items daily, so you never see the same things each time you go. I am a retired kindergarten teacher, but the reasonable prices at Home Goods enable me to “change up “ things without breaking the bank.”

“For the first time in years, the quantity of inventory surpassed my expectations. Unfortunately, the quality was not up to par pre-Covid. Much of the merchandise looked like it was 4 to 10 years old mixed in with one or two small displays of new merchandise. The store was very crowded, and it was difficult to navigate the aisles. It was apparent that there wasn't enough staff to merchandise the displays appropriately. There seems to be a good selection of sizes, but nothing really looked like you couldn't live without it. I know there are supply chain issues, but Marshalls used to be my go to place for items that were marked down because it was just off-season. I do hope the buyers if they are experienced, will resume finding quality at a bargain price.”

“Love the pick up service. App is a little hard to use on your phone, desktop is easier. A few times they didn't have what I needed, and once gave me a zucchini instead of a cucumber. But overall the pick up seems to be pretty cool and works out well for us as a family. I got some expired milk when I ordered it, and had to go back to the store to swap it with another. I noticed in the case, that there were several milks that were also expired in the case. I just hope that the people working there can focus on those dates especially with perishable items.”

She helped me pick a concealer that had a good undertone & went well with my skin tone! She sanitized the testers for me so I would be able to apply it on my skin. “As far as Walmarts go, this one is really pretty good! I often do my grocery shopping here, and find that the shelves are generally pretty well stocked (compared to other Walmart stores that I've been to). I've also found the employees fairly helpful and pleasant. I've noticed recently that an employee is stationed at every entrance/exit checking receipts, which I find a little annoying. Overall I find the store to be clean and I can pretty much get everything I need in one trip.”
“I like going to Marshalls. They have good inexpensive cologne, clothes shampoo and many other items in the store that is perfect for a person under a certain budget. Also it is right across from a Chase Bank and that doesn't hurt either.”
