“(Update at bottom 4/24/24) An internet service to make living in a rural setting truly enjoyable for modern times? Yep. An internet service that will allow me to stream 4k HDR content with Dolby Atmos ? Yep. An internet service that brings fiber-like latency that is consistent to a rural area? Yep. If you live in rural Castle Rock, this is almost certainly the best internet provider you can have. I was unsure of how good fixed wireless could possibly be... I was shocked at how amazing and simple it turned out to be. I do a lot of competitive online gaming, and know how important packet latency, jitter and loss is - and I can tell you latency is low, jitter is low, and loss never happens. Google DNS I consistently get 10ms latency, and the network routing is solid - the least amount of hops to my destinations I've had with any internet service. The customer support XtreamInternet has is top notch, the best, period. In my entire life I have never had customer service like they have offered me. Everyone I've dealt with at the company has been friendly, intelligent and honest with every single aspect of the service. Installation was fast and easy. Weather doesn't have an effect on my equipment at all (which if you're rural you know how annoying satellite tv can be during storms). In well over a year I've only had 1 unexpected outage that lasted all of 15 minutes, hard to find that level of reliability in any Internet or Utility provider. I wish I could give double the maximum amount of stars because they have truly made living in a rural setting fully enjoyable for the modern times. :)

UPDATE 4/24/24: After 6 years of service with them, and having tried 2 other local providers in addition to Starlink - I can say with absolute confidence that Xtream Internet is BY FAR the best. The customer service can not be beat. The speed, reliability and pricing is unmatched. There have been issues that have come up that have been out of their control, and they moved mountains at warp speed to restore my connection (and it was even better than before, which is very impressive). Being not just satisfied, but downright impressed after six years is pretty unheard of for any utility or service provider. We may be far out from the city, but with this internet, we are right at home. Thanks Xtream!”
