“I had a bad service experience at Corwin Toyota, so I called my trusted Audi/Mercedes mechanics at Modern Specialists and asked for a recommendation for work on my Toyota Avalon. Without hesitation, they suggested I go to Hoshi Motors, and I’m glad I did. From the moment I called and got a person (instead of a machine) who didn’t try to transfer me twice to voicemail (sound familiar, Corwin?), service was warm and personable. Their review of my vehicle indicated that the thousands of dollars of work recommended by Corwin wasn’t necessary at this time, maybe in another 15-20,000 miles. Their findings were explained to me by an actual person, instead of via text like Corwin. I was in-and-out in half a day, for $80. I’m thrilled to have found an honest, capable mechanic for my Toyota and highly recommend you give Hoshi a try!”

“I have nothing but positive things to say about Boulder Nissan. The team makes getting a car a seamless, simple process and the no-haggle policy really helps make the process far more enjoyable than the more traditional dealerships that require planning to spend multiple hours at a dealership to argue over pricing. I got my first car from Boulder Nissan last year, and just added a second car from Boulder Nissan to my garage. The pricing is excellent (and, frankly, more than competitive with other dealerships), the sales team is always prompt to answer questions or assist as needed, and the experience overall is more pleasant and exciting (the way car buying should be) than dull or wearisome. I was not a Nissan driver before, but I intend to be one for as long as I can continue to count Boulder Nissan to be my dealership of choice. “Just needed an exhaust component expanded a little. I was told there’s a chance it could break while trying to expanded it and that it would be $20. The part ended up slightly cracking but I ultimately made the final call on pushing it further with the expander. I wasn’t charged anything and the owner was very helpful! Highly recommend this honest shop.”

“This is the most honest, straightforward and fair shop I’ve ever taken my car to. Darren is so incredibly nice and helpful, and he saved me a ton of money. I’d already taken my Kia SUV to Boulder Valley Automotive for other small repairs because they’re great and their prices are really fair. This time I paid extra to have it towed to them because the engine failed while I was driving. Darren thought it seemed like a specific warranty issue Kia has acknowledged, and that there was a good chance Kia might cover the repair. He talked to the dealership and they agreed it sounded like that issue. I had the SUV towed to Kia.Kia told me I needed a bunch of different repairs, not that it was the warranty issue. I freaked out and talked to BVA again. Darren told me the repairs they were suggesting made no sense and called them again. It turned out the Kia dealership shop hadn’t listened at all to what BVA told them. When Kia looked for what Darren had told them to, they found it WAS the warranty issue. Kia is replacing the engine at no cost to me. From this I learned that dealership will happily try to sell people work their cars don’t need.I really appreciate BVA’s honesty and helpfulness. They aren’t condescending to me because I’m a woman, and I think they genuinely care about helping people.”
