“Had so much fun! We did the Sherlock Society room for my first time here and had a blast figuring it out and escaping! Puzzles were fun, challenging, and the overall experience was great. Topped off by a great host, Alexa! Very helpful when we asked for hints, just over a pleasant host! 10/10 would recommend. Can’t wait to experience the other rooms!”

“We love Poinsettia Pavilion! My first experience at this beautiful establishment was over 20 years ago when we needed a location for my sister's memorial. They were very kind and accommodating and we held a beautiful celebration in her honor. More recently, we've attended events for local business meetings and kids activities from dance camp to cotillion. It's a beautiful location with a view of the Ventura Hillsides and the Channel Islands, and plenty of parking. It's affordable too - Please consider them for your next event!”

“This was my first visit to Deep Sea wines. They have two tasting flights: an all red flight for $26 and a mixed flight called the Signature Tasting Flight for $20. I decided to try the Signature Tasting Flight which consisted of a 2022 "The Seahorse" Sauvignon Blanc, 2022 "The Seaturtle" Chardonnay, 2022 "The Seastar" Rose, 2021 "The Helmet" Pinot Noir, and 2021 "The Duel" Red Blend. They also offer food, ranging from a cheese plate ($18), three pizza options, two desserts. I didn't have any food during my tastings but some other customers ordered while I was there and the pizzas looked really tasty. Definitely might give them a chance the next time I stop by. I enjoyed all the wines I had that day but I ended up taking The Seahorse Sauvignon Blanc home. They also were kind enough to let me try the Conway Pinot Noir which was different from the Helmet Pinot that was part of the Signature Flight. I love when I'm able to do a side-by-side comparison of two wines - it often helps me decide what I'm going to purchase. Even though I preferred the Helmet Pinot more than the Conway (although both were really good), I was in a Sauvignon Blanc mood so I decided to take that home. The tasting room was spacious with comfy couches, bar seating and even an outdoor patio. With the location being at Ventura Harbor Village, there wasn't really a bad seat in the house as you're able to look out at the boats and water while you taste. As for parking, when I arrived at about 10:30 am that morning (the tasting room doesn't open until 11am) there were plenty of spaces. But other customers that came in after me commented how it was hard to find parking as there was an event happening that day, so the lot was very full. Stephanie and Jessica poured my wines for me and they were great! Answered all my questions, were prompt when I was ready for my next pour and were super pleasant. Even when they got very busy towards the end of my tasting, they still made sure I was taken care of. Would definitely recommend it.”

“Beautiful property and tasty wine selection! Enjoyed playing bocce ball while sipping our flights. We went on a Thursday so it was quiet and exceptionally serene! Staff was friendly, helpful and laid back. Grabbed a bottle of their White and Grenache for later & look forward to visiting in the future!”

“Very accommodating in this time of covid. They let me leave my trailer for 3 days until my reservations for Carpenteria state beach came up instead of having to travel back to L. A. to retreave it for the week with my daughter and grandson. I really appreciate the ELKS OF VENTURA. Thankyou. Elk member of Pasadena Lodge 672.”

“I have been inside City Hall a few times. Once to do some paperwork for work and other times to show my children. The building is beautiful and well kept. It is always nice to see the building from different angles as we drive and walk around downtown. I snapped this picture when we were driving by in October 2023. As we drove by I loved the way it looked in the evening time.”

“Some great shows in a small venue. Getting to/from the location is a bit awkward but it’s right next to downtown and there is a parking structure nearby so arrive early, enjoy dinner downtown, and then catch the show. We saw The Offspring and it was an incredible time.”

“Mariotts are always a pleasure to stay at, and this one was special given its great location close to the beach. The rooms were premium, and had extremely well done interior decor. (For example, the curtains are so amazing that if you decide to take a mid-day nap, be well ensured that not an ounce of sunshine will trickle into your room)The service was exceptional too - specially the order-in to your room service was very convenient!Special shoutout to Colin V, whose service at breakfast was exceptionally warm! Also, the following are not complaints but suggestions:1) shower pressure can be improved2) the couches at the restaurant are a little too low for the table (the silverish chairs are perfect, just for reference)”

“Nice spot, I would give it 5 stars but the lane kept messing up and wouldn't rewrack the pins so made the experience a bit unpleasant but other than that all was good.”

“I come here at least 8 times a year. The location is hard to beat. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The restaurant downstairs has the best breakfast. My kids and I love it. The pool is nice. Coffee, they serve in the area near the elevators is great. We love it here!”

“This hotel is in a great location along the path of the marina, near restaurants and shops. It’s also very clean and somewhat modern.Although The staff appears to be short handed , we waited way too long for check in and hotel policies were not made clear to us. And when we called the front desk for clarification they didn’t have time for us.Also ask for a room on the south side, the north side has a unpleasant oder.Safety: Appears to be a safe environment all around the marinaWalkability: About a mile to all restaurants and shopsFood & drinks: Many options available”

“Property manager collaborated with the Red Cross to resolve a concern I had and my blood donation went smoothly. Thank you to both parties. Everyone who helped me were so amazing and kind. Apologies for my previous review where I misunderstood the situation, that was my own fault for jumping the gun. Faciities are very clean, just please do be aware if you're here for a blood drive the entrance is in the parking lot, not by the fountains. Thank you to management and to the Red Cross for all their help today.”
