“last week (the weekend before Christmas basically) I was hoping to get antibiotics for my dogs uti. I couldn't get ahold of anyone over the phone so I just drove to the clinic, not wanting to be that person but needing antibiotics before travelling hours away for multiple days. I was pretty disappointed to see a sign on the door saying the closed at 12 that day, and especially more disappointed since I had spoken to the vet the day before and he didn't relay to me that they'd be closing early the next day. but to my surprise Dr.Varun came through! I was about to walk into an emergency clinic and go through all the tests and 4 hours of waiting just to get antibiotics and right before I got through the door Dr varun called me and asked me to meet him at shadow hills. A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE. I can't tell you how much I love and value the staff here and the Dr. Varun himself is such a wonderful man. I'm happy I bring my dog here. he loves the whole staff and loves coming to o visiy”

“Took my dog here a few times when I had just got her as a puppy years ago to get her shots, neutered, etc. after having a really bad experience at another local vet. I felt very uncomfortable based on a few things that occurred leaving me to not trust the vet there so I got my records from them and immediately decided to take her here instead. My experience was amazing every time and it was half the price of what the other vet was trying to charge as they also claimed she had something wrong with her without running any tests (she didn't and they were just basing things off of a google search in-front of me which is what made me feel very unsettled). I ended up moving out of the area for a few years, but recently moved back and my dog had symptoms of a UTI so I decided to come back here yesterday. Once again, another great experience and this will definitely be my go-to vet. They were all absolutely great with my dog (she absolutely loved it there) and I like that they're very upfront about how much everything will cost without trying to get you to buy things that aren't necessary like other vets I've been to. They've also renovated since last time I was here years ago, looks great!”

“I really like Dr Pan. He is very kind and knowledgeable and I feel like he really listens to my concerns. I never feel rushed when I take my kitty to see him (and I’ve been taking him a lot since Dec 2023 bc he is battling FIP).The reception staff is friendly.My only issue is that there seems to be long wait times even when you’re in the exam room . This clinic seems very busy so I wonder if there’s a staff shortage (or maybe bc the doctors talk thoroughly to each client as I mentioned above). I’m usually there at least 2 hrs. I think I’ve only been out of there within the hr one time”

“We had a really great experience here and are very thankful. We had recently adopted a (very friendly) stray who had been on our street for a few months. He got in a bad fight and had an infection. We rushed him to Sherman Oaks Vet Group and they were able to get him in right away. Dr. Goss did a lot of work on him including a neuter. They cleaned him up with a cute lion cut. He is feeling much better and on the road to recovery. Dr. Goss is so good with pets and the owners. We are so grateful and our kitty thanks you! He is full-time indoor now and so happy and safe.”

“I have been to many different vets in my life, but I can say truly that this is the best.Dr. Steve is so amazing. My Pepper had loved him when she was alive.Basil and Pickles adore him. He is so sweet to them. Pickles is an anxious girl and nervous at first with men. She only screeches with glee for me, grandpa, and her aunt. It was only the second time she met him when she immediately screeched louder than ever. He has a care that is truly wonderful. Basil gets excited for the vet with him and the wonderful staff.My cat, Juniper sees Dr. Kia. She is a spicy little brat. But for Dr. Kia Juniper immediately purrs and relaxes. I wish she would do that when I brush her!!!The staff especially the receptionists are so positive and kind and caring. “I have been coming here for over 7 years, with a total of 6 different senior dogs over the years, since their old location. Dr Chung and Dr H are amazing, the whole team really is! They provide next level pet care at more affordable prices. Dr H's expertise led to efficient testing and diagnosis of Lymphoma is one of my fur babies this month and, upon my consent, they promptly ordered the chemotherapy, antibiotics, and steroids my baby needed rather than us going to a specialist which we simply cannot afford at this time. They have treated a number of conditions with my animals over the years. In fact, I found Dr Chung all those years ago when I had a senior rescue with a bleeding problem. 3 vets recommended putting the dog to sleep, Dr Chung immediately diagnosed her with a condition, put her on a medication, and it resolved the problem. That pet had over 3 happy years with us after that before passing from natural causes. They should recieve awards, truly the best care is at Little Tokyo Pet Clinic.”

If you love your pet, bring them to this clinic.I'm writing this review the day after our beloved dog, Lilu, passed away at this clinic. She fought for a month and a half, during which we visited the clinic often for surgeries, procedures, and other services. We are heartbroken, barely able to endure each day. But what VCA ASEC did for us is beyond words. We asked them for a paw print to later tattoo in memory of Lilu. They not only provided a paw print but also sent flowers to our home and prepared a condolence card signed by the medical staff.
