“I typically don't enjoy shopping and not sure that visiting Nordstrom often is high on my list of things to do, however when it comes to selection and quality products, Nordstrom is my "go-to". Service is mostly decent in my experience. I'm not sure how the salespeople are paid or incentivized, so unsure how that factors in but they genuinely seem like they want to help. In my experience, Nordstrom is unrivaled in the department store category (and their online presence is excellent.) 5 stars”

“$2 parking on weekdays and $5 on weekends. No admission fee. Sellers started packing up their goods just after 2, so it's better to show up before then. There were lots of snack stands and a public restroom. I found a lot of goodies there, from La Roche-Posay products to Stauer watches to trading cards. Every seller took a form of-non cash payment (Zelle, Venmo). You might have to do digging in piles for clothes, but no complaints!”

“My family has always enjoyed the great customer service at One West Bank on Carson Street in Torrance. However, this week was exceptional. I had to open a family trust account. Banker Anita Sattar made the complexity of this account so easy to understand. She was friendly, efficient and quickly took care of our business. I couldn't thank her and other staff enough for their help.”

“I needed to take care of some financial transactions. With the particular transactions that I needed to do, I needed to talk with an advisor. So I called and made an appointment. Come the day of my appointment, I called to see how long the appointment would be because I needed to be somewhere right after. The person I spoke to said it'd take about an hour and said I could come in 10/15 min early if need be. This was great, so I arrived 10 min early and could be seen right away. The branch manager, Alan, helped me right when I arrived. He went over everything very Thoroughly, and he answered all of my questions. I will definitely come back to work with Alan with my future financial needs. I also was able to leave with the timeframe and made it on time to my next destination! It”

“I was very fortunate to receive the best possible service from Ms. Masha, a bank representative at Wells Fargo. I needed assistance in modifying an existing account to limit the access for an elderly parent, and Ms. Masha was able to sympathize and understand since she had to do the same. She took the time to hear me out completely, then restate what my requests were to make sure she understood. Then she patiently and accurately fulfilled my requests. Since my modifications weren't easy, It took the assistance from other advisors to get me taken care of. If you need to make modifications to your account, it's best to schedule an appointment, especially with Ms.Masha.”

“I add issue w my checking account, was on the phone with fraud dept. two hours wait time argh! But Jorge did get turned back on. When i inside branch found out debit card didnt work. Teller was very helpful and worked around so i could get some cash. Fraud events have such a ripple effect!”

“I requested a real estate loan from the bank several years ago and had some problems with both a branch employee and an employee at the bank's processing center......and the problems resulted in significant delays. I finally realized the branch employee was only working part time (and that probably was causing a large part of the processing problem). I then complained to the manager (Pablo) and found him to be very responsive and professional, and thereafter the loan quickly got approved.”
