“Over the past 12 months, ACE Cash Express has been much easier to deal with and significantly cheaper than other check cashing places, including the actual issuing bank. The representatives have been very respectful and are always smiling at us, which is very nice and comforting to still see people who still treat us like human beings, even in our circumstances, where we have had to use check-cashing services. The first time you cash a check, they add you to their system. After the initial visit and account setup of about 10-15 minutes, we've since been able to cash checks at ACE within 5 minutes. We've always gone in between 5:00 - 6:00PM, which surprisingly is not crowded. People who have rated lower probably should readjust their expectations. This is an establishment that provides check-cashing, payday advance and short-term loans; therefore, they usually deal with a lot of desperate and needy people (like us) who need immediate access to funds. Many folks whose loan application is declined will usually slam the business in the ratings. But the reality is the most of us will get turned down because we have been irresponsible financially so this is where we have ended up. Moreover, they have to deal with a ton of miscreants and scammers. So people who keep berating and criticizing these businesses that need to protect themselves financially and a very high likelihood that they won't get paid back are being unreasonable. Put yourself in their shoes and then think about what you would do to ensure you don't do bad loans and lose money. This is merely my two cents and perspective on the dynamic between companies like ACE and loan applicants with poor credit like us and check cashers who won't or unable to open traditional consumer banking accounts because of past improprieties. At any rate, thank you ACE for helping us out as much as you can and still remain financially sound.”

The supervisor of the store is very nice too always smiling, says hi to me each and every time she sees me, possesses a positive attitude, and always happy. I strongly recommend Amanda be the next manager of the store or the store supervisor be promoted to the manager position. “This place literally is a market (I didn't say grocery though)! Filipino restaurant type food is located at the back end of the store; they have tables and chairs set up for dine in. Towards the middle part on one side there's a small office looking areas where they have a counter and a chair for booking flights or any other travel arrangements. On the other side, there is some sort of a shelf where they have different types of junk foods and chips (they also cater to the students from the nearby schools). Further towards the front of the store is another counter where you can send or receive money through Western Union, notary public, perhaps but those "balikbayan" boxes to send back to the Philippines or even play some lottery. This place is almost like a mini mall cramped into one small unit.”
