“My sister, son and I were on a road trip through CA and we were in Santa Barbara. While sitting in our hotel room an ad came up for Anna Janelle for permanent bracelets. I had never heard of this and went to Anna Janelle's website which was full of information. I told my sister about it and we decided to see if we could make an appointment for the next day, but none were available. We decided to stop in after breakfast to see if we could do walk in. I'll be honest, we had a hard time locating the store in the plaza but once we did it was a cute store. The owner greeted us and we asked about the permanent bracelets. She happily explained the process, told us about the gold used and showed us the options available. There was no wait for the service. We both selected the same chain and the process took about 10 minutes for fitting and welding. I also found a few other cute items in the store. Even my son loved the store and the jewelry. I could not have been more happy with my experience and the items I purchased. “Love these types of stores. It's an art gallery where you can purchase locally made, affordable artwork. Jewelry, pottery, clothing, etc. I purchased a glass cat ornament for $15. I love it. Service was great. The owner's dog makes sure to greet every customer. Very calm, enjoys being pet on the head.”

We ordered custom engagement/wedding bands, and they worked diligently with us through the entire process to make our dreams a reality. We wanted what turned out to be an incredibly rare padparadscha sapphire, and they were able to source the perfect stone within a very tight timeline. “Stopped in here to look for some dainty necklaces to wear for my wedding day coming up. Let me start by saying that the girls working there that day were super friendly! Emma helped me find and layer necklaces to fit another necklace I had brought in. They let me try on anything I wanted and helped find the perfect chain and one other necklace. Will definitely be returning to buy some more jewelry in the future!”

“I was so happy to discover Peacock Beads (the reincarnation of The Bead Store, formerly on De La Guerra St), now owned by a mother-daughter team. The store is absolutely beautiful, welcoming, and fully-stocked with an abundant array of beads, crystals, gorgeous hand-made jewelry, and supplies. I took in a precious abalone necklace that needed restringing and some repair. They did the fix for a very reasonable price, and really took the time to understand what I wanted. If you are a bead lover, or just like unique, atmospheric, and locally-owned boutiques, be sure to visit them on Cota St.”

I first called earlier and talked to Myla; told her I was in town visiting and needed to repair and adjust my Rolex presidential bracelet. One of the pins fallen out. When I arrived, Scott Harwin greeted me promptly, and addressed my dilemma. There was no charge.”

“The museum is conveniently in downtown Santa Barbara. I parked in one of the parking structures nearby. I was able to purchase tickets on site. I had ample time to visit the store prior to the opening of the museum.We explored two floors of art. We took our time going from one gallery to the next. I was really looking forward to viewing some Georgia O'Keeffe's but was informed that they were not on display.”
