“I bought a special type of back pillow from the Santa Monica Relax the Back store at 2519 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica 90403. The "Sales Consultant", Dan Doherty, was very helpful and honest about what would be helpful and what was unlikely to be helpful. I've gone to many stores for devices to help me live with my herniated disc and other spinal problems. His advice was tremendously useful to me and helped me heal when other stores merely tried to sell me things that wouldn't help and had no advice. Dan didn't try to oversell. On the contrary, he tried to save me from buying what I didn't need and what wasn't likely to help. I'll buy at that store again when I need something. I'm available to answer questions.”

“As with any service provider, there are benefits and there are problems. Usually, my interaction with Image Source has been positive. But recently, I have been really bummed out with the lack of professionalism in the area of ordering items for my publishing. I am giving a 4-star review as a cumulative score. It does not in any way represent my current level of frustration which would be about a negative 3 stars. It was the first time I ran out of staples in my finisher, and I quickly dashed to the website to order the necessary items. I found them, clicked on them, ordered the correct items and quantity, and added my requested information such as address and payment. Then I waited. No staples arrive. After a week, I contacted them to see what the hold-up was. Hmm. I was told I needed to have a quote for staples. I should not have been able to order them on the website. So I asked for a quote. No quote arrived. So I phoned again. They said they'd check my order and send it straight out if it was needed. Nothing arrived. Not via email or as the package of staples I needed. In the meantime, I began sewing some of my more important documents being printed. Yes, you can imagine the time. After five (5) phone calls, we established that they had misspelled my email and sent me zero quotes for my still-needed staples. Amazingly, the bills manage to have the correct email addresses on them. Today - ONE MONTH AFTER ORDERING INITIALLY - I received notice that yes, after SIX phone calls, my staples had finally been ordered and would arrive in 3-4 business days. Again, after my publication date. The tracking number included in the invoice came back as unstable by the shipper. When I contacted the company again regarding the tracking number, I was "disconnected" THREE times (one-time mid-conversation, two additional calls that just blipped after I was connected). When I asked to speak to a manager, I was basically refused. My advice: Know who you are dealing with. Not every person on this team will be as helpful and pleasant as the initial contact individuals. Once you have a contract, you pretty much have to deal with that platform unless you terminate. Usually, it's been okay. But at this point, I am banging my head on a wall because it's going to be another week with NO STAPLES in my publication. It results in a very poor representation of our company's product.”

His store is like a typewriter museum, and he is full of interesting information. I had not imagined how much fun I would have looking for a manual typewriter for my granddaughter. “Words cannot express my grateful for these caring and knowledge people. I have really special needs ergonomically. When I started working at home, it was obvious I needed a new chair because I was writing a lot and my wrists, legs, and back were hurting. I tried to find a chair that fit my needs, but I got ripped off (Internet purchase) and Staples and Office Depot are not that specialized or knowledgeable, and also didn't have options with features I needed. Toni, Blanca, and Juan were especially amazing with care, friendliness, and making sure I got to try and see if the options actually worked for me. In the end, they found a chair that fit everything I needed, nothing short of a miracle. By the way, they didn't ask for a review, but I feel strongly to recommend them and spread the word about how terrific they are. The new chair has removed the pressure and pain. And it's pretty! “Very cool showroom where you can check out the entire Herman Miller product line--including the chairs, which is why I was there. It's not really a drop-in place, though, so you're best off calling them in advance to make sure they're available before making the trip. Don't plan on buying anything here either, as they will send you to one of their vendors for an actual purchase. Yes, annoying, but for my trip I was treated very well, welcomed to anything out of the fancy coffee bar, and two helpful reps who knew EVERYTHING about their chairs patiently explained all the features and answered my questions. Got myself an awesome Mirra 2 chair a few weeks later.”

“I was looking for options to get a rubber stamp made locally and was so happy to find Quality Rubber Stamps! I had a stamp design in mind and brought it into the store to see if they could replicate it. Even better, they were able to offer a self inking option so I wouldn't have to deal with having a separate ink pad (which would have been the only choice if I would've bought it online). I emailed them the original design and I picked it up a few days later. Now, my letters look awesome and I'll be coming back to get an address stamp soon.”

“I was in town visiting and we decided to head to Century City Mall for some shopping. I noticed they had a Hermann Miller store in their directory and decided to head on over.I recently was involved in a major motor accident 5 months ago leaving me with back complications and leg issues. During my weekly sessions with my PT she strongly advised on a work chair that would help alleviate the issues while sitting. My spine is shifted to the right and my alignment is off due to my physical issue. Sitting and standing can be very uncomfortable after 2 hours.I was recommended the Embody Chair by friends and also my PT. It was nice to be able to go in and try out the chair in person at their showroom. It's quite a small show room, but they had a lot of chairs on hand..Upon entering I was immediately greeted by a woman sitting on the left side. She was very nice and said you are welcome to try anything let us know if you have any questions. I like that, because I'm very particular when it comes to service. Acknowledging is nice, but to give someone space without bum rushing them is also a huge plus. My sister and I proceeded to test the chairs. Another sales person came out on the right to say hi. She noticed I was sitting in the body Chair and said if I have questions about the features let her know.After a few minutes of trying out chairs I asked for assistance. Paola was very patient as it was 30 minutes to closing and I told her I would return the following day to purchase as I did not want to keep them late. I returned the next day and she went over the features again, talked about the customization, warranty and shipping process. Her manager even came out to say hello. I purchased the chair and she continued to keep me up to date on my shipment process which was really nice.I received my chair a few days after I returned, which worked out. It came in an extremely large box already assembled, securely packed and upright as the instructions stated. It's so nice to have a chair already assembled. The wheels and features she went over worked perfectly. I have used the chair the last few days and no issues on my back. I am over the moon about my chair. The purchasing process was very seamless and quick. Thank you Paola for an exceptional service and understanding my physical needs. It's very rare to get someone in sales that will listen to your needs and in turn try to shove some product down your throat you don't want.”

“I'm a fairly regular customer of this location.I've been here several times recently for scanning, copying, & printing projects. The various employees have been very helpful & pleasant. I don't recall all of the names of the employees that have assisted me recently. Carlos was extremely helpful with a scanning task that needed to be done. They are very responsive in helping with the various projects. I try to go when the store first opens, as I can get in/out quickly.I hope Management acknowledges the staff at this location for the professional Staples emoyees that they are.”
