First off, the training here is still as intense and effective as ever. The coaches are super knowledgeable and genuinely invested in helping you reach your goals. The new amenities are what really make the experience shine. There’s now a 7evesea Coffee Co. right inside the gym, which is a total perk for that pre- or post-workout caffeine boost. And let me tell you – the showers are amazing! They’re spotless, spacious, and stocked with everything you need to freshen up after a tough workout, which is such a luxury for a CrossFit gym.

Whether you're a hardcore CrossFit fan or new to the community, AMP Association is the place to be. The new space, the amenities, and the passion from the coaches make this gym a gem in LA. “Oak Park LA is the gym I’ve been looking for my entire life. I’ve been a member for 1.5 years and can’t speak highly enough about the quality of the coaches, programming, and facility. I’d been a member at 2-3 other CrossFit gyms in other cities and kept getting injured due to improper form and going too hard too often. Oak Park LA coaches have helped me improve on the fundamentals, identify opportunities for individualized growth, and discern when to push myself versus taking it easy. The intentionality + philosophy behind the coaching is unparalleled and I’m grateful to be a part of the community.

“I love this studio. I practiced there for years in its former space on Barrington with Jay and Diane, and followed them out to Ocean Park. It is a grounded, well run studio with terrific and kind teachers and students. No pretense. Space for everyone. “I've been going here a lot over the past year and there are many reasons for it: the workout always challenges me and the trainers also know how to push us, they give individualized attention while looking out for the whole group, everyone is so friendly and kind, even when the workouts are tough (particularly on wednesdays and sundays) they will still make you laugh and motivate you to push til the end. Training Mate is great for physical health and because its so fun and welcoming, its great for mental health too! No one at this gym is pretentious and everyone is cheering one another on - at every level. From the front desk staff to the trainers, literally any and every day of the week. Pro tip: If you like less busy then come at 8am or 9:30. If you want slightly less intensity come in the evenings.”

“I normally go to more traditional gyms, and do pretty standard lifting. However by chance I walked past Basecamp Fitness and I am very glad I did. The workouts are tough, but great, and the staff there are so helpful and friendly, explaining everything clearly and making you feel like you are part of the team. I would recommend this gym for all, even if you don't normally do these types of workouts, give it a go!”

“I have loved coming to the Santa Monica Studio! The sessions are well organized, the studio is clean, and the trainers are all very friendly and encouraging. Their membership pricing is more than reasonable with multiple convenient options, which is part of the reason I also chose Santa Monica as my first F45 studio. There is also convenient parking — including free street parking just a few blocks away. Would absolutely recommend!”

“After trying nearly every HIIT and CrossFit gym on the west side of LA I finally found CAMP. It’s been over a year now of me working out there 5 days a week, and I can confidently say it’s the best overall fitness experience you’ll find. The stations classes are challenging, but have everything from free weights, to a heavy lift (rack), and always really great compound movements. The programming is the best I’ve experienced, always creative and fun. The yoga classes are fantastic, and lately have been really enjoying sculpt Pilates for mobility and core strength. The teachers are all great, knowledgeable and always provide feedback on form. They also are very good about making adjustments for anyone dealing with an injury. They’re definitely the best group of instructors of all the gyms i tried (by far). I also love how they emphasize keeping a clean space (ex: at stations, everyone grabs wipes and cleans the equipment they just used before moving to the next one). Checkin staff is super friendly too. Just can’t say enough good things about this place!!”

“5 stars for Manny!!! Manny the front desk attendant has been our no 1 dude since he started. Not only has he provided service over and beyond the call of duty, but he's been friendly and warm with every conversation we've had. He helped me retrieve a lost airpod, helped me secure my membership, and has been an overall great and pleasant presence for this gym. In addition to Manny simply being the best, the gym itself is great. I've been here as a guest many times, and have finally committed to a membership. it's clean, it's fun without being obnoxious, and it's got all the equipment i need and then some. overall, a great experience, and a great workout. “Great environment. Different type gym in that all located closely together, but not bunched together, for quick access. The gym includes outdoor spinning classes with a wonderful trainer and cool music. Highly recommended the gym. It's also clean, management and ALL staff are with it!”

“Totally pumped having Silver Sneakers membership. I was a little apprehensive at first since this is my first time ever joining a gym; 24hr staff made me feel comfortable and the atmosphere is totally chill. Great gym, looking forward to the zumba classes as well. Awesome amenities and lots of options for your fitness regimen. Once a member you may visit any 24 hour gym... I recommend 24 hour fitness for a gym to join. ?”
