Both the check in personnel and the site manager helped in getting it resolved in a friendly and efficient manner. Also picking up the vehicle and getting an upgrade to what I had booked was also a great experience. Certainly recommend them at this location.”

“We rented a car for 8 days and there was a lady unfortunately, don’t know her name but, she was extremely professional and polite during the process. If you think about renting a car I’d highly recommend this location. You won’t see any hidden fees or other things that normally other places would do to rip you off. They delivered the car to our hotel and at the end of the day, we valet parked it and they picked it up the next day (we paid the valet fee). “I originally booked with Dollar Car Rental, but when I went to pick up the car, Dollar Car Rental said they were out of cars for the next THREE hours... Avis/Budget car rental barely had a line compared to the other car rentals at this airport, and did have cars available for immediate rental. Linh was very knowledgable and got a car for me very quickly. I would use budget again when traveling to SNA.”

“Had the best experience with Santa Ana Hertz Branch Manager Jesse Guzman helping to fix an issue that I experienced the day before while renting a car from the Hertz at LAX. The airport credit card machines kept rejecting my valid card, and the agents blamed the issue on my card being defective (it was not) and could offer no solution. I went to Jesse the next day and there were absolutely no issues with my card. He was able to remedy the payment issue in a speedy and efficient manner. Would highly recommend him and his staff of courteous, customer service focused professionals.”

“I love that the car rental is within the airport. The car size that I had reserved was not available so I ended up with a flat bed truck which I didn't want because of parking in Los Angeles and the gas prices. But they offered me a credit to make up for it. The process was very simple but because it is a small airport getting in and out of the rental car lane was a little annoying.”

“I recently had a great experience with Dollar Car Rental at John Wayne airport in Santa Ana. The service was excellent, and the staff member who assisted us was friendly, open, and very helpful. He went above and beyond to accommodate our needs without charging extra, and we were provided with a decent-sized car that comfortably fit our group and luggage. The rental price was reasonable, and the gas mileage on the car was impressive. Although I wouldn't personally buy a Subaru, driving one for the first time was enjoyable and it got us where we needed to go. The seats were roomy and comfortable, and the car had advanced technology features that enhanced our driving experience. Overall, if you're in need of a rental car, I highly recommend checking out Dollar Car Rental. The only reason I deducted one star was because the return process lacked the same level of service orientation. However, I encourage others to document their own experiences and contribute to the Yelp community.”

“My wife left her phone in the car and ran back in a panic once she was in the airport and it was missing. The employees at the return area and the Manager were so kind to her, calmed her down and promptly returned her phone. The car was well on the way to their depot and the driver turned around and returned it. We appreciate the kindness she received in her panic and such a quick response/communcation among the team members in getting the phone back.Also, the car was immaculate and it was an all around good rental experience. We will definitely use Thrifty if we come down to the OC again.”
