“When I first saw all the five-star ratings, I was skeptical. I called, probed, and took my time evaluating. As I was talking with Bill my excitement kept rising up. I had finally found the holy grail in a person/place to take care of my car - highly experienced, expert knowledge, no-nonsense, very reasonably priced. And oh, how about Honesty, you ask? Don't even need to take anyone's word for it. With Bill you get to watch him do all the work, and he even teaches you a bit about your car and what is needed and not needed to care for it. When was the last time that you got to see everything that a mechanic does right in front of you? I am thrilled at having found Bill. No longer need to worry about buying a Toyota or Lexus that is past its warranty any more. Because I know I can call Bill with any issue that I have, and it will be fixed in the best way possible for the most reasonable price around. He also works on Hondas, so I am set for life with my car needs. Or at least so long as Bill is available.”
“By far the best car service, and honest evaluation that one can ask for. We have been going here for years. Lauren, who always answers the phone is kind, patient (especially for those who aren't experts at cars) and is especially wonderful in providing the best service for my sister (who is disabled) and her car. The whole team deserves an A+ for transparent and honest service. Each time our car is brought in, we receive a multiple page inspection report with photos and images, outlining what is a critical repair vs. recommended but not necessary. Really helpful in allowing me to make the best decisions on what services to pay for, vs. ones I don't really need. Thank you SO much Lauren, Dave and the entire AutoTech San Ramon Team!!!”

“I was refered here by another car guy, but I was really apprehensive about going to a new mechanic. As a woman, I have had many bad mechanic experiences. I was bracing myself for a bunch of gross dudes to act weird and price gouge me or talk down to me since I don't know much about cars.
Totally the opposite! I was immediately greeted by mechanics who talked to me about what I needed for my car while the office manager was in the middle of a phone call. I had my young daughter with me and it turns out they have very little ones at home. They just made conversation with me while we waited. Then the office manager finished his call and they worked me into a little spot they had available. He quoted me a fair price and they got to work. All lovely men. Very pleasant, friendly and professional. My brakes are happy and so am I. My husband was happy I was treated well since he had to fly out of state and didn't have time to work on my car before he left.
Of course, we're moving away by the end of the month, so I hopefully won't need any more services by then. I just wanted to take the time to share my experience so other people like me will feel comfortable bringing their cars to this shop.”

“Very honest person. I had issues with transmission valve of Subaru. Dealership said it’s not under warranty and would require $ 2,500. Brought the car to Dan. He researched and gave me a printout of Subaru extended warranty which I showed to Subaru dealership and was able to get the valve fixed at not cost to me. I only paid Dan 50$ for his evaluation. He is most honest mechanic I have come across.”

“Great guys! I took my motorcycle up there which had issues with one of the bolt being threaded and even though they don't work on motorcycles - they helped me fix the issue very quickly! “I am a 90 year old retired tech and have had my own automotive shop and dealt with many other shops over my lifetime as a Service adviser for multiple auto manufacturers. Because of my experience, friends are always asking me for repair recommendations.. I have trouble with that, since I do all my own repairs and have been away from the trade for so long. But I do believe PAS to be a fair, honest, reliable, courteous, and friendly place. Nobody is perfect, but they try harder than most.”

“This Americas Tire location is my favorite, it's right down the street from my job and they are always super friendly and thorough. They have done work on both my cars. I brought my car in today for 3 tire sensors being out. I had the 1 good one replaced like a year ago, but since I came in for only 3, they did all 4 just to make sure. They also let me know my windshield wipers were drying up and helped me get those replaced.
Dillon was the person who helped me today and he was wonderful.”

“I’ve been an Edge customer for years. They’ve always done fantastic work on my BMW. Recently had my engine running rough. The Edge team diagnosed it to be the fuel injector on cylinder 4 going bad. I asked if I should replace all 6 injectors. They advised it would be a waste of money as it does not take a lot of labor to replace an injector. If another goes bad later, it can easily and cheaply be replaced. A dealer would have convinced me to spend to replace all six. But the Edge guys are always honest about repairs. Honesty and the great work is the reason I have been a loyal customer for years and will continue to be so.”
