“By far the best car service, and honest evaluation that one can ask for. We have been going here for years. Lauren, who always answers the phone is kind, patient (especially for those who aren't experts at cars) and is especially wonderful in providing the best service for my sister (who is disabled) and her car. The whole team deserves an A+ for transparent and honest service. Each time our car is brought in, we receive a multiple page inspection report with photos and images, outlining what is a critical repair vs. recommended but not necessary. Really helpful in allowing me to make the best decisions on what services to pay for, vs. ones I don't really need. Thank you SO much Lauren, Dave and the entire AutoTech San Ramon Team!!!”

“I was refered here by another car guy, but I was really apprehensive about going to a new mechanic. As a woman, I have had many bad mechanic experiences. I was bracing myself for a bunch of gross dudes to act weird and price gouge me or talk down to me since I don't know much about cars.
Totally the opposite! I was immediately greeted by mechanics who talked to me about what I needed for my car while the office manager was in the middle of a phone call. I had my young daughter with me and it turns out they have very little ones at home. They just made conversation with me while we waited. Then the office manager finished his call and they worked me into a little spot they had available. He quoted me a fair price and they got to work. All lovely men. Very pleasant, friendly and professional. My brakes are happy and so am I. My husband was happy I was treated well since he had to fly out of state and didn't have time to work on my car before he left.
Of course, we're moving away by the end of the month, so I hopefully won't need any more services by then. I just wanted to take the time to share my experience so other people like me will feel comfortable bringing their cars to this shop.”

“Very honest person. I had issues with transmission valve of Subaru. Dealership said it’s not under warranty and would require $ 2,500. Brought the car to Dan. He researched and gave me a printout of Subaru extended warranty which I showed to Subaru dealership and was able to get the valve fixed at not cost to me. I only paid Dan 50$ for his evaluation. He is most honest mechanic I have come across.”
“I had a great experience at Woodards with my Honda Odyssey. I had taken it to another shop and received a dianostic report on what needed to be done but I wanted a 2nd opinion.
I took it to Woodards and they did that work for less and also found out the real problem causing the misfires. They did the work promptly with a fair price. I liked the straightfoward honesty and expert work.

Because of my experience, friends are always asking me for repair recommendations.. I have trouble with that, since I do all my own repairs and have been away from the trade for so long. But I do believe PAS to be a fair, honest, reliable, courteous, and friendly place. Nobody is perfect, but they try harder than most.”

“I’ve been an Edge customer for years. They’ve always done fantastic work on my BMW. Recently had my engine running rough. The Edge team diagnosed it to be the fuel injector on cylinder 4 going bad. I asked if I should replace all 6 injectors. They advised it would be a waste of money as it does not take a lot of labor to replace an injector. If another goes bad later, it can easily and cheaply be replaced. A dealer would have convinced me to spend to replace all six. But the Edge guys are always honest about repairs. Honesty and the great work is the reason I have been a loyal customer for years and will continue to be so.”
