“The BEST Shop in the Bay Area! I took my 2007 VW Rabbit that had a Check Engine light to them, and they we're able to fix the problem in less than 24 Hours. They are honest people, and their mechanics are amazing! They won't overprice or try to fool you like other shops do. After they fix my car. I brought it back to them because it had an A/C problem. And again, they fixed it within a day. now my car passed the smog. I was able to register it, and my A/C blows cold air again! I would recommend them to anybody that needs their car fix. Thanks to the guys who worked on my car! If I could rate 10 ⭐️ I would definitely do it.”

“Our family was in search of an independent mechanic after our long time faithful shop closed for retirement.
One day our 2003 Acura CL was starting intermittently. I just showed up taking a chance on Nick’s after reading a few reviews. I met Rafael, he owns Nick’s, and after leaving the car a few days the issue finally appeared for him. He diagnosed, serviced and called to say come pick it up.
While at the shop I see a tire machine. For our 2006 Toyota Prius Rafael suggested we only needed two new front tires.
I value honest people and after two visits with two issues (mechanical and tires) I am telling the neighbors.
Pricing will vary depending on your need but service and communication were excellent.

“Woke up this morning to a flat tire—ugh! I managed to drive a short distance to put some air in the tire, only to discover it had a nail in it. With a million errands to run, the thought of sitting at a tire shop for hours was disheartening. After calling a few corporate tire shops nearby, I came across a small, local shop. The young guy who answered the phone was super nice and said they weren’t too busy and could take care of me right away. And that’s exactly what they did! I pulled in, was greeted by an older man who immediately started working on my tire, and I was out of there in about 15-20 minutes—at a fraction of the price those corporate places quoted me! “Yesterday, after I had my car battery replaced, I suddenly couldn’t get either of my van’s sliding doors to close. I tried everything I could think of, but nothing worked. A friend suggested I check out a nearby repair shop, telling me they’re known for excellent service, fair prices, and an amazing owner. Honestly, I thought, “Do people like that still exist nowadays?” But I decided to give it a try anyway.
Sure enough, Jason—the owner—was exactly as my friend described. He took one quick look at my van, spent maybe two minutes, and somehow fixed both doors right on the spot. When I asked how much I owed him, he just smiled and said, “Have a happy holiday.”
I was floored. Who does that anymore? From now on, Jason has all of my car service business, and I’m going to spread the word to everyone I know (and even those I don’t!).”
“I received great service from JC Auto Repair. I found my rear window would not close and recalled that JC Auto was in walking distance of my house and worked on BMW's. JC Auto was able to obtain the parts to repair the window and completed the work by 1:30 p.m. I was very happy to get the issue resolved in such a short time.”
“Tire plugs are usually $10-15 ANYWHERE! $25-30 is a bit inflated. Also, cash only- a detail the guy could have told me on the phone when letting me know they were open and to come on over. Other than that... Quick, easy, and I didn't need two new tires. Great.”
“This is the place to take your vehicle. They can find any problem and repair it. Also, they give you recommendations for future repairs based on need. They do not pressure you if you decide to have *some* of the recommendations performed as opposed to all of them.

“I needed a smog and it previously failed elsewhere in Alameda. The guy charged me even though it failed, which I guess I understood. I was told to drive my car a couple more miles then come back, which he would have to charge me again. I decided not to come back and found KS automotive on Yelp. I did my smog test again, yet it failed. This guy told me the same thing which is to drive my car more than come back. I expected to pay but he didn't charge me!! He said he will charge when I come back. So I definitely came back after and passed my smog! Great customer service. I also got my oil change there too. Service is quick, workers are thorough and explained everything.”
