“100% would recommend this place without any hesitation. Everyone was professional and provided great customer service. I called to make an appointment for an estimate. The receptionist provided me with available time-slot to choose from - which I really appreciate cause it shows they care about your time as well. I showed up and they gave me an estimate and walked me through my insurance policy and how it would work. They called back again to confirm a good drop off time for my car and told me they would work with the rental car place to sync up my pickup time. When I dropped off my car, they broke down the process again for me and told me the repair would take 5-7 business days and within minutes enterprise came to pick me up and shuttled me to their office for my rental car. They will call you again to give you an update on your car and the status. I picked up my car and was able to drop off my rental car at their place as well. Smoothest transition ever! No hassle whatsoever! I didn't have to worry about getting an Uber or a shuttle. Alright alright, you probably want to know about the quality of the repair right? Well it was fantastic! My car is 10 years old and I kept her well maintained. It hurts to see dents and scratches on my car. I was really worried that the color would be off since they had to replace the fender and door, but nope! They made her look brand new and the color looks uniform across the car. Big shout out to SERGIO and his team!”

“Michael J's was a recommended body shop by my insurance. . They called me shortly after I spoke with my insurance agent. Tbh I was skeptical about going to a body shop I wasn't familiar with but I was pleasantly surprised. I was a little bit early for my 3 PM appointment But it was empty when I walked in so I was immediately greeted by the woman at the front desk and shortly there after I met with Hung (Operations mngr) who was there one to inspect the damage on my vehicle. Hung was really friendly and very thorough. He made sure I understood everything I needed to know about the claim and explained what I didn't. Everything was really smooth and efficient. He made me feel very comfortable. I would definitely go back and I would absolutely recommend this shop for your auto body needs!”

“Oscar is fast, knowledgeable and helpful. I stripped a bolt while installing a water pump and called Oscar to see if he could help. I brought my bike over the same day and immediately got to work. After he installed the new part, he inspected the bike and found a serious issue with the bolt that holds rear shock in place. He fixed it and got it back to me the next day. Honestly, Oscar saved a life that day. If the bolt holding the rear shock ever came off, it could have been catastrophic. 10/10, reasonable prices, honest and highly recommend him for any future service your bike may need!”

“My wife and I have a 2006 Scion XA that had some damage from a collision. The insurance company determined that fixing the damage would cost more than the $5K that the car was determined to be worth. My wife and I wanted to keep the car since we have maintained it well, so the insurance company sent us a check for the value of the car minus the salvage value. We found one body shop that was willing to fix the car for roughly $5K. Then we found San Carlos Auto Body & Repair. I asked to fix the car well enough so that it was completely operable and would pass a DMV inspection for registering salvaged car. They were able to do a great job fixing everything well enough for around $600 very quickly. We were so pleased with the results and service that I highly recommend San Carlos Auto Body & Repair.”

“My new Tesla Model Y has a 4 inch scratch on the side door, due to my lousy parking skill. I was given an estimate at another Tesla certified body shop. The amount quoted was too high and made me reluctantly decided to live with the scratch, until a great friend of mine recommended Xcel Collision Center. Not only did he make the thing look pretty darn good for its age/condition, he advised by using cell phone pics about areas on the roof that may need attention to resealing as well as vents, caps, etc, that need replacing.
