“I really enjoyed the customer service provided by Octavio and Paul when I went a few months ago I can into the branch to make a wire transfer and I was greeted by both of these gentlemen, like usual with big smiles. I always love how these two gentlemen are always smiling and always have a positive attitude. Paul proceeded to help me out with the wire transfer like usual. However, today his system went down, but luckily for me. Octavio was there and was able to help me out with my wire transfer. Everything went smoothly and I was on my way. Justin Sloan at 555 Mission Street in San Francisco should deserve some recognition by management for he seemed to be the very few employees that has revived my faith within the banking industry of late. He is always very helpful, professional and responsive to my concerns and needs throughout the years especially during the Covid Pandemic! Unlike some of his colleagues whom are great at providing lip services or even throw a monkey wrench at the works by telling other truly helpful good employees in the branch such as Fantasia Jackson that she cannot fax application to Headquarters for “self- directed brokerage accounts.” This happened two weeks ago even though I was instructed telephonically to do so by a supervisory employee with customer service earlier the same day when all else had failed, i.e. electronically/ via internet to open aforementioned account! With banking hours being cut back including services by most banks, it has been a refreshing experience to know that bankers such as Justin and Fantasia are still around to complete the important mission set forth by their charismatic CEO and Chairman Jamie Dimon of JP Morgan Chase & Co.In spite of the limited resources or encouragement Justin and Fantasia do their best to help out customers like myself that require a service dog to get around!Being the largest bank in this great nation, I believe it is important that Chase Bank management should reward good employees and weed out the bad ones for many large banks and corporations had failed of late because their leaders had failed to discern such differences in its rank and file!Finally, it is my fervent hope that Chase Bank would integrate the few decent employees from First Republic Bank into Chase Bank on a permanent basis for they are part of the JP Morgan Chase family now!”

1560 Third St Suite A-C, San Francisco“Needed a cashier’s check because I was out of checks, and out of town. This credit union has a partnership with Southern CA Credit Union. I got to Golden 1 a few minutes early. The doors opened promptly at 10. My teller’s name was Donna. She was very courteous and greeted me warmly. I didn’t have my account number, and she was very patient while I called my credit union to obtain the number, and placed a paper and pen in front of me, right when I needed it. After I requested my check(for deposit and rent) she determined I was new to the area, and extended a nice welcome. Thank you, Donna! The security guard was very nice too, smiling and holding the door for me on the way out.

“With the demotion of the Grant Ave branches years ago, the Mandarin Tower branch, along with the Columbus and Stockton branch (which is technically in North Beach), are the only branches serving Chinatown, and the Mandarin Tower branch feels oddly understaffed. Often the wait for counter service will take 15 to 25 minutes as the line reach a dozen deep due to lack of tellers. Yes that would include just needing two rolls of quarters. ?”
