“A few words about Luke, the salesperson we worked with at ANA. On the internet, we found some end tables we thought would match a bed we had bought elsewhere. Luke was able to verify that it would, and sent us pictures to reassure us. Since we live 60 miles away, and delivery would have been prohibitively expensive, we wanted to make sure the tables were moved to the showroom from the warehouse before we travelled there. Once again, Luke double checked before we drove in. Once there, Luke obliged us when we asked to open the box to make sure the pieces were undamaged. Sadly, one of them had been crunched on an edge despite considerable packing. Luke offered us a floor model as a replacement and gave us a considerable discount. He even helped us put the tables in the car. We rarely have encountered such a careful and considerate salesperson. The showroom is spacious and well laid out, if a bit bare bones. Prospective clients are advised to call ahead and make sure you know how to get into the parking lot, which is gated at the end of a dead end street. Street parking is difficult. Prices are competitive. We were stuck by how the same pieces at other stores are marked up higher than at ANA. Overall, ANA is well worth a trip downtown.”

“Inga was a great help in selecting fixtures for an entire home while we were preparing it for sale last year. She made what could have been an overwhelming task so much easier, with her expert suggestions. I know from experience there is a lot that can go wrong with selecting light fixtures... from not enough light, to wrong scale, and more. Inga kept us from making costly mistakes, and the project turned out great. The customer service was excellent, and there's nothing like being able to see the actual fixtures in person at the store before you order them. Inga helped us pick out at least 12 sets of lights, and we didn't have to return or change any of them. When a glass shade was broken for one of the fixtures, she got us a replacement quickly. I highly recommend using Inga's design services. For a larger project like ours, she might visit your site in person. Otherwise, you will need to send her photos.”

“We were skeptical about this business just because the name is kinda goofy -- but we were blown away by the service and quality we got here, at a lower price point than retail. After our experience, I can't imagine buying a couch from a chain vendor again. We were initially eyeing sofas from Restoration Hardware, but they were very expensive, and we saw that other folks complained about poor quality, delivery times, and customer support. We came in to Sofa U Love after seeing one couch on Craigslist that looked roughly similar to what we were after. We were helped out by Benny from our initial walk-in. While we had looked at other "custom" sofa places, you were mostly looking at set models with some options around fabric. Sofa U Love was able to make a mock of the RH couch we were eyeing, then let us customize everything down to the arm width, to the stitching on the cushions. Benny and the team were super communicative as it was built out, and I appreciated their design insight. Our couch came in substantially less expensive than the couch we had been eyeing, built with solid wood (vs MDF), with faster delivery time, and made in California! It's rare you don't have to make tradeoffs!”

I loved knowing who was making my wallbed and having it be in the same city as me.In 2018 I purchased a lateral queen wallbed with accompanying cabinetry from them. Since then I unexpectedly had to move twice and it is still super solid. I don't think cheaper options from another company would have been the same story.Astrid and Abraham are always amazing to work with. During the last move I had a small snag with the size of our corridor and called them in a bit of a panic. Within five minutes they were able to walk us through disassembling the front piece to be small enough to fit.Highly recommend!”

“Although we love the warmth our Kosmos chairs provide us in the chilly SF weather, we are disappointed in the quality of the finish on one of our two chairs. The images that I have provided are after G&J refinished the arms. Both chairs are covered when not in use, and are only cleaned with water and a microfiber cloth.We have asked G&J for a replacement chair, and hope that they will respond.UPDATE: G & J has replace our chair and we are VERY happy with their attention to resolve this problem! “I've been looking for MONTHS trying to find a sit-stand desk that not only functions well but is also aesthetically pleasing. Well I finally found it at Ohio Design! Their Adler Table is a work of art and the most solid piece of office furniture I have even used. As a creative professional I want my work space to be inspiring and sitting down (or standing) to work everyday with this table does exactly that, inspires. The care for details, the simplicity of design, and the functional artisanship remind me to do the same in my craft. There are few floor samples (most of their work is custom and heads off to their clients) but their staff did their best to show me what was similar when I paid the shop a visit. The products match what is on their site so I felt confident that I was going to get what I wanted.”

There was a great selection of mattresses to try at a variety of price points. Andreas was very knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. He gave us lots of space to try the beds and talk on our own, he understood our needs, and he did not push us in anyway. I definitely recommend shopping here. If you are on a tight budget, request information on purchasing a returned mattress. Delivery to your door is free, or pay $99 for them to place the mattress, and they will haul away the old one, too.”
