“I don’t know much about cars, so going to the mechanic has never been something I’ve been super comfortable with - that’s until I found T.P. First things first, they listened intently when I first came in and also were understanding of financial limitations. They worked very quickly (got my car back within a few hours) and when I came back they explained what all they looked at with the car and how they did that. Luckily I only needed an oil change, and they didn’t try to upcharge me or add other services. They explained things in a way that were very understandable. Above all else everyone who works there is kind and welcoming. Will definitely be my go-to mechanic!”

“Performance was recommended by a close friend. My wife has an old Camry that had been into another “Toyota only” shop. Well we brought it in multiple times for check engine light and asked for a once over as my wife though her brakes were going and they said no next time.Well when the the check engine light came on again we decided to take it to performance Auto. Our friends recommended shop. 1) the properly tested and found two smog related things we needed and said one forsure and other eventual(no upsell). We did not mention the brakes. But as a good inspection should they said they needed replacing.We picked up the car tonight and my wife says it drives better and 100% notices the brakes performance. No more grinding.We are super pleased and I will bring my car there and my daughter’s who unfortunately went to the other shop and she still has issue. We are so lucky we found them. “I had a great experience at D&T Auto Repair! They took my car in same day and had me all fixed up in just a couple hours. They were willing to install customer-supplied parts which most shops don’t do. Their pricing was very fair compared to other estimates I got. They were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. As someone who prefers to do all my own car work and only take my car to the shop when a job is too big, I get the feeling that D&T is very transparent and does not try to take advantage. 10/10 will visit again.”

“A Customer Service Company that also does Excellent Automotive Repairs! Looking for an Auto Shop in the neighborhood and came across Dragonfly. I answered a few questions and then received a written Repair Estimate via text, this next is uber important, WHILE STILL ON THE PHONE! That's pretty amazing. For perspective I called another shop, that we shall not name, and the gentleman stated "Oh, to get that quote for that repair I would have to go get a catalog and then look it up" to which I replied "if you would mind that would be really nice, only of course have the time" =)- Needless to say never got a call back. They prefer the bring it in put it on the lift and then give you the option of paying whatever they ask or charging you a couple hundred to release your being held hostage 10 feet off the ground. Tom and Luis are great! Got the quote, made the appt online, brought it in, paid exactly to the penny what I was quoted and drove away happy. How often does that happen in the real world. “Brian and Bubba are tremendous! Found them on Yelp and they delivered! I had a Volvo going in for a smog check and it was failing so I needed a mechanic to diagnose and fix the problem. These guys are super friendly and honest. They ran their diagnostics and found at least one problem that was fixed with a simple remedy (new gas cap). Then they had me run through some exercises with car before making sure the car was ready for the smog test. 20 mins later went to a smog station and it passed! Thanks guys! I would not go anywhere else. One time my son and his family were visiting in Carlsbad from Riverside. Their Subaru had a problem. We took the car down to Miramar H&A. It was a Saturday. When working on my scion FRS, he always takes pictures/videos on what the problem is for my car (timing cover reseal and valve cover). He even called me because someone that has the same car as me, had the same problem. I had some specific issues identified at another mechanic and dealership, but their description and prices were suspect so I was looking for a second opinion.I came to MM Auto Techs with an appointment and was quickly processed. Alan came out to get specifics from me and then his team went to work. A reasonable amount of time later Alan came out to explain their findings, much more thoroughly than anyone had before. I'm not a car guy, but I try to have a general understanding of them and Alan explained the issues very clearly and in a simple enough format for me to understand. They finished up the repairs and asked me to stop by some weeks later for a quick free evaluation to double check some of the issues.Overall a great experience, the office and waiting area are very nice. Labor was involved. When done, the head of the shop said "Here's your estimate and bill - the car's ready." I looked and saw the repair charge was $0.00. No charge? But they actually spent a reasonable amount of time and trouble, and there is no way could I have done it myself.
