Jeff, manager, and team were great, quick, thorough and affordable. What I appreciate more than anything was the quality of work and honesty. in todays market, unfortunately, we the consumer can be taken advantage. This was not the case with Walnut Creek Automotive. “I have been going to Ace Auto Care since I moved to Lafayette, and continued going since I moved to Concord. They are respectful, honest, and fair. It may not be as convenient for me to bring my car back to Lafayette, but I know they will take care of my car.An example of their integrity: I have many stories of them being upstanding mechanics, but this one stood out to me the most. I brought my car in for a fix, they did their repairs and I started driving away. I noticed an odd sound, so I turned around and brought it right back. They looked at it, saw there was something they missed, and fixed it right away with no additional cost (it was a minor thing). I always feel that Terry is looking out for MY best interests. We always have good conversations about what work needs to be done vs what work could be done and the pros, cons and risks (if any). I have especially appreciated this during lean times when we could only afford the minimum. The place is NOT fancy, you aren't paying for amenities, just quality work at a reasonable price. I work in orinda and have had this nasty noise coming from my rear wheel. 2 mechanics before taking it here told me they were “unsure” what the noise was. Jaimie, an incredible service advisor got me in within an hour of talking to him. Come to find out I was basically driving around a death machine due to bad prior mechanic work. Pete was the tech that got me all fixed and back on the road in an hour ! Would 1000000% recommend if you are looking for a fair, competent shop to take care of your prize possession, or even just your daily driver. Great price too!”

They got the job done using Mobil 1 oil, which was a nice to see. He also ended up charging me less than quoted. They specialize in German and Japanese models, which is perfect for my two cars. And since they are both high mileage, I have a feeling I'll be back soon enough.”
