“Nothing wrong to write about the service station, but just a Heads up, no more 100 Octane Racing Gas!! I went this morning, pump was NOT working. I called later and the gentleman on the phone told me they will NO LONGER sell 100 Octane! How sad!”

“as i was installing the last mount for a roof rack, the bolt sheared off. i went to uptown to explain the issue to see if they can help with this unusual job. first, they didn't laugh at me. lauren and the team examined the issue, came up with a proposal and estimate. a couple of days later, they had my car washed and ready to go. not only that, they polished my headlight lenses! the folks at uptown are genuinely friendly and service-oriented. i will not hesitate to recommend uptown!”
“What is cheap isn’t good & what is good isn’t cheap… Quality work & fast turn around times. Brought in my first car back in 2016 which was my 01 e46 330i, then second car which was a 2013 F30 328i, and right now my currently daily which is a 2015 F32 428i. Had my cars in and out the shop and always drove off the shop as if my cars were brand new. “Went in for a brake inspection and possible replacement. After inspection, they told me that I had about 70-80% brake life left on each pad and didn't charge me anything even though I tried offering some tips for services. I was in and out of there in literally 15 minutes. They were extremely pleasant and honest about everything and my new go-to place for any future brake services when needed.In contrast, several other shops that I went to for an inspection gave me elusive answers and asked me to come at 7am to get a service or told me it would take 2-3 hours to get the brakes inspected.”
“Gomes Tires was recommended to me 10 years ago by someone who said that Gomes gave them good service at a great deal. Since then Gomes Tires has saved me countless amounts of money over the years. My mother often gets questionable recommendations from her local mechanics so I'll bring her car to Gomes and they let me know what really needs to be done or not and why. Most of the time, the original service recommendations were frivolous and Gomes saved us money. The same has been true with my car.”

“This was my first time going to Dave's Auto Service and it's always nerve-racking going to a new auto repair shop. Prem immediately jumped on my issue without hesitation and troubleshot the info. He gave me a rundown of what the issue may be, but luckily, it was a super quick and easy fix. Prem was kind enough to not charge me for it since it was so quickly resolved - sign of a good customer service and a great way to get a loyal customer.

“I bought a used Subaru WRX. It died the day I got it (sad). I had it towed to a repair shop to replace the obvious problem (a broken serpentine belt). They said that it was running rough (gross misfires on all cylinders) but couldn't figure it out. I had it towed to another garage. They couldn't figure it out. I had it towed to The Model Garage. They did figure it out: party of the broken serpentine belt got into the timing belt.
The Model Garage solved the problem and did so with good communication and reasonable (low even?) costs. I will return there the future.”

“I went to have a tire installed, balanced and mounted ($20), plus to remove the locked lug that I lost the key ($10). So, I get it all done for $30. I would have bought the tire from the store had they offered it at a more reasonable price. Also, I think they give back to the community.
